Just wanna say thank you for going into detail on your videos. Shared the timing chain replacement video on a b8-b8.5 audi group on Facebook, so hopefully you have a few more followers coming through🍻
Does the cam cover require new bolts (torque to yield)? I guess inpart what’s the torque spec? I’ve dug a little deep to find bits of the cam bridge screen - haha. BTW - signing up for erWin this weekend for 1 day or 7 days; just need to make the decision soon! Also, I have the top and main timing covers off as I was trying to figure out how to detension the new style tensioner so not to cause damage to the cams. As I was pulling off the cam cove and had it nearly off and I saw it rising up; quickly through a few bolts back in! Didn’t realize there wasn’t anything holding down the cams except the cover... more like top half of cam races! Might just through on my timing locks and unbolt the tensioner to lock it on the bench! BTW - my tensioner was replaced on warranty but clearly the chain wasn’t, it looks like the tensioner is at 20mm out vs 10mm when new. Looks like I might be doing the timing chain and tensioner while it’s all apart (currently at 125,000 km ).

They are torque to yield. 1 use. 8nm plus 90°. There are 22 bolts.
