- On this episode of Trail Ride Revolution we are heading to Woolys Offroad Park in Tennessee to wheel with the one and only Big Tire Garage Ian Johnson in his new Tube Chassis LJ build for his show Four Wheeler on MotorTrend. He built one of the most capable street legal jeeps we have ever seen and we can't wait to see it do some rock crawling. Hopefully I can keep up with the Knucklehead Garage JK. So come along for the ride as we climb over rocks in our Jeeps and do our part to Make Trail Riding Great Again.

atleast it is just winch rope and not cable
Between the air compressor cycling all the time and the squeeky link suspension on the flat buggy, I'm happy with my leaf springs and Detroit Lockers...

Yeah I grabbed the new OX Locker and redesigned cable setup new reworked cable that now threads in both ends so it will engage and also now disengage with no problems cause of the completely new cable it is AMAZING wouldn't consider anything else at this point!
Seeing Ian reminded me of Jessi Combs. ❤

You guys should take a trip up to Washington for a few days of wheeling. Hit up Reiter pit then go hit up the Naches old wagon trail. Start from Highway 410 side working your Way to Naches. When you’re in the Naches area go up make sure you stop by funny rocks and moon rocks there two different locations with super sticky monolithic rock. You will love it there. It’s a fun place to wheel.

Well I believe I'm not going to get air lockers. All I hear is compressors constantly going off and that would drive me nuts! 😂🤣

I love Ian, I watched him build that Lj and he saved me a lot cause I was just about to buy a stock LJ for 10 grand. I saw 4 wheeler and decided there is no point in stock lj, goat built is the way to go🐐
We are looking at building one also. Thing flat out works, way better option than any other LJ chassis on the market

what kind of rigs do yall wheel?
have you tried putting a shot of grease in the air locker line? sometimes that will "fix" the x-ring seals in the air collar.
The locker is cracked in half and beyond repair, this was the best I could get it to work
Man would have been cool to ride with y’all guys. We had 2 hard days of wheelin out at woolys this past weekend. Always cool to have an off-road park right down the road.

I needed a good laugh today and thanks to you all I just had one. The jeep with little tires wedged between a rock and a tree...then Jake getting hung up on those rocks...by the way how long did it take him to get off them? And the grand finale that new sweet ride breaking down on a backwoods country road in TN...only in America...

Is it normal for your compressor to run non stop with front/ rear lockers or do u have a leak? Been like that since I subbed well over a year ago 🤣🤣
I have fixed it 3 different times at this point the entire locker is cracked and leaking air, it is about to get welded into a spool, ARB junk....

It is the junk ARB front locker. I have fixed it multiple times and it starts leaking again...
