    This series demonstrates that all though you are out of your usual down south comfort zone, the instinct and abilities of a true fisherman transcends location and geography. In essence it's just been ingrained in our DNA. Hope your inspirations and mentors watch your vids, and are also inspired at the same time as being proud as punch 😉

    • @Alberthoward3right9up
      @Alberthoward3right9up 8 месяцев назад

      Most fishermen in Australia that are taught from a young age are taught to wind the reel with their non dominant (less strong) arm. It's uncoordinated to start with but better in long run. If your casting a spinning rod. You don't need to change hands..

    • @MOEMUGGY

      @@Alberthoward3right9up If you go back and watch, you'll notice that you are casting with your dominant arm, then changing it up to reel.

      I don't think it's a northern or Southern hemisphere thing.

      @@MOEMUGGY with a small rod. You cast with one hand. Your dominant one. You wind with the other so you don't have to change hands. Big rod makes no difference in my opinion as you usually do a decent cast. So plenty of time to do a jig and swap hands lol

    • @MOEMUGGY
      @MOEMUGGY 8 месяцев назад

      You should try it the other way. I'll bet after your first few casts you'll never go back. It's nice being able to flip the bail over or start reeling before it even hits the water.
