Larry’s interaction with the videographer is one of the few i’ve seen where it ends on a good note with Larry getting what he needs. I kept expecting him to do something to piss him off which would result in him releasing the bad footage to the couple
Why does he have to tell everybody about the Jew card ? A large portion of the audience is not Jewish. All he's doing is giving ammunition to anti-semites.
I think the problem is when the couple isn't genuine in what they say or if they invite people who only loosely know them to watch. It comes off showy and cringey. This type of thing is too intimate and imo only extremely close ppl should be invited like if my best friend or sibling did a vow renewal I would cry watching it. If it was acquaintance... then yeesh.
Larry David, allowing all of us who hate fake people and their narcissistic BS to feel good about our stance, our willingness to not just "be nice" to people who don't deserve it. Thank you, LD!

@@fromstaciwithloveLol, that's about the size of it. Larry himself said the point of the show that many fans often miss is that he's not really like that, and he's not playing a sympathetic character. He said something like "don't act like me on the show, that's not who I am"

Wealthy , self absorbed , and new to Southern Californians are such delusional post modern Americans . Thank You Larry David for your honesty .
Richard can make any scene great..especially in combo with Larry. What a 'needed' show is Curb. Cringeworthy wry humor that everyone can relate to at some point in their lives.
Susie - Such a lovely lady, always does the right thing, always gets along with others, and her wardrobe is so 'well spoken' - a perfect and necessary accoutrement for Curb
This would be the longest 10 minutes to live through in their lives. And no big surprise that 'they are both lawyers', as the groom announced so proudly.
I would be like larry in this situation. I actually dread my own (theoretical) wedding because of all the sappy shit. I'm going to be like, "Let's make this a business transaction, sign the papers, and go party!"
Every time Larry's at a gathering, somehow the show has a way of making the hosts look obnoxious or stupid right out of the gate, like the show understands Larry's dislike for such people.
Larry perfectly channels the disgust I feel reading most millennials posts on FB about their awesome lives or their delicious meals. You just think, who does that?
I mean I knew Larry David was a genius, but it’s like he flicked a switch- and if you didn’t know him, you’d think his reactions were genuine. I watched it over and over. Brilliant and so funny. I almost want to be invited to another unnecessary event now so I can try this in real life.
Jeff: “She’s gonna remember he’s human. How do you forget that?!” 🤣😂😅
One of the best lines from this season imo.
Absolutely the best line from that season, and my God jews don't really say stupid shit like that do they?
How do you do this in front of people? It’s so unseemly 😂

"Fellow tribesmen" ahahah
That happened to my father once in a private sale.. He used my tribesmen.
Love how Larry doesn't play the Jew card unless he absolutely has to or wants something 😂
🤣
It’s so rare tho. He doesn’t use it excessively.
Yeah like that time when Richard Lewis needed a kidney transplantation
When he tries to speak like he knows the words when he has a conversation with another Jewish person is the funniest part in show
