Well, this is another place that looks like it can be saved. I LOVE the sign!! This would make a great small little flea market building or something like that. I love those kinds of places. It's so much fun to walk around and look at all the junk lol. Whenever you do these videos and I see places like this that still looks salvageable, I try to picture in my mind what kind of business could go in there. That's just what came to mind when I saw this. I guess that old sign made me think of old stuff, like a small antique store. I just think to myself, if I were driving down that street and saw a business that I've never seen before, what would be something about that business that would catch my eye enough to make me want to stop and go inside. One thing I can tell you, a gas station would never lur me to stop, unless I needed gas of course. But I would stop for little roadside oddities that you wouldn't come across often. It just needs to be something kind of rare that draws attention. I'm pretty sure that's what brings most folks into new places or reopened places. There just has to be something that can fill its shoes and bring it back to life. Looks like a nice little neighborhood there to. One way or another, I hope they save the sign!

I see what you do and it reminds me of what I would do if I was out there just out and about. Getting out and just looking at places and visiting them like this, put me in a different state of mind sometimes. When times were more simpler and easier it seems, when I see you post your videos it is very obvious. You have a curiosity to get out there and film places and it is a fantastic hobby. Thank you once again, my friend for going into detail about your thought of these kinds of places I feel the same way it would be a great flea market. It is right by a beautiful side of town but the side of town that it’s on is getting old and these buildings are here and there I plan on getting out and doing more over that direction soon. I hope all is well with you and thank you as always, myfriend, and thank you for your unwavering support.
That is why you have an open pass anytime you come to town to hang out for a little while I enjoy your company and your friendship .
      🌹🌺😉‼️❤️⛈️💯

Remember Mays across the street from McDonald's on Broadway? They had that very same clock. That's how I knew when to go home from cruising Broadway. I still look up towards where that sign used to be. ( Big sigh)😕

I did not remember that until just now. It’s amazing the things that stand out in our memories. I forgot all about that. I always remember making the last one of the night too white castles on 30 before going home.

Sadly those signs are not cheap anymore if you actually wanted to buy one. Plus if someone really throws some heavy rocks and it's they will actually break. Too bad time stood still on the one side because the hands fell off. Some taverns had some clever ones done along this style

I grew up there. Not a good area for an investment. Someone was killed there. Also someone was killed at the bank down the street and twice at the other abandoned gas station that someone is just taking over further down 12 by county line in the pines. In the 80s people thought this area would come up because it's by the lake but it only went downhill
