Excellent reporting here. You're not just gushing like a little girl, you actually asked tough questions that any of us would want to ask, like "What happens if the actuator breaks" and "How much power after you add mods" which I'm surprised he answered... good for you BMW, we enjoy the corporate honesty.... or why are the brakes not as sensitive as the previous model.. to which I think the BMW guy sounded like a politician scrambling for an answer... with the "it was our goal so there was less heat on the rotor" silliness. I'm guessing a more aggressive pad is the answer (but it will drive heat up). The truth is that the Brembos are probably better. Very good work guys... keep it up !!!!
Um, he wasn't scrambling at all answering the brake question. It's a legit answer and he looking straight in the eye. Not all brake systems work the same and most riders do not like initial bite because it freaks them out and for road purpose it's better to have something more progressive. Even on the track many riders prefer a progressive setup over a hard bit setup. If Brembo didn't want to modify/sell them a system that satisfied what BMW wanted on the bike then they don't use Brembo it's that simple. It's not about BMW trying to make excuses for not use a name brand brake system.
Great review. I would dare to say the best out there (yet). I love the perspective of an owner of previous model and the mechanics view on the bike. Overall much represents the interest on a potential new owner. Love the review. Thank you!
Wow!with the new design of SHIFT CAM..The bulky inline 4 is now narrower and overall dimension is reduced and better weight and aerodynamic...now everyone learn🤗😀🤗.Awesome!!!Efficient Dynamic.
Truthfully the asymmetrical headlights on mine never bothered me. I just a 2010 and all I wish is that the came with either HIDs or LEDS instead. I think the asymmetrical lights of the last generations gave it a distinctive look.
Ah yes, finally BMW took a leaf from Suzuki's GSX R book on braking. People criticised Suzuki for a "lack" of feel, but it does make sense as its up to the rider to dictate the braking pressure not the bike.
why the obsession with background music?? Please avoid falling into this trap. Great vid this issue asside. The new BMWs1000rr looks like a real killa. I hope they extend these refinements & upgrades to the BMWs1000r
These new computer controlled modes race/traction and wheelie control will i think be a nightmare when buying second hand, and it begs the question of, when you crash and hopefully survive who would you blame for your accident? and incidentally is this tech checked to see if it is functioning correctly? Any viewers answers would be appreciated as I have found no one else has asked this scary and very important question and please remember manufacturers sometimes get it wrong and this could cost YOU/US dearly....
Lucky, you got a dry day ... some of the other reviewers were not as lucky, but I think that may have helped highlight the electronics. I have not. Even excited about a new bike in quite some time .... this bike looks to change that.
Is there a difference between the white model and the solid colours (red and black) Are the electronic capabilities of both colour schemes the same or is the White model more advance?
The white Msport is Msport has carbon fibre wheels there $8000 if you buy the separate also has the lighter battery and M rear height adjustment swing arm pivot same electronics as the Msport if you get the solid colour in red race model only it has forged wheels and standard battery etc $33200 in Australia of the Msport and $29990 for the Red Race Model
Henry Wong yes it’s confusing. Not sure if it’s electronically dampened in the standard riding modes but in race pro mode it’s static at the selected settings. He seemed to suggest that in the cnr in race pro the suspension doesn’t adjust in the cnr but I think I read somewhere else that in race pro mode it will adjust whilst the bike is upright. Ie on cnr entry and exit. I tried to clarify online but it doesn’t seem clear anywhere. It would be good to know.
Nice to see a review not in the rain!
I was waiting you all to review this bike, thanks for making the best review, was really worth it..✌️
close, 1000ps takes the win, but both are by far in another league on yt.
What a brilliant and informative video guys. We need to get your subscriber numbers up
Thanks. Hopefully, we'll hit 100K soon

Indeed, I could not have said it better myself. Great video, the number of videos I have given ‘likes’ to is very low, but you have earned one.
Great ... we are already looking forward to receive our new BMW S1000RR!
Hope you don't have to wait too long. ;)
The best review so far of the new BMW. Loved the review and the bike👍

Just saw the 1000ps review. You're correct. It is definitely awesome.

I mean, how has nobody mentioned that it looks so much better with symmetrical headlights?
Yes i agree the old version lights reminded me of the GOONIES character Sloth "hey you guys"! lol)
But now it looks more like a fireblade.
First thing I noticed. That's the only thing that kept me from getting the previous generation. Looked absolutely retarded. So glad they fixed that.
Because they don´t. This is far better look with LEDS.
Truthfully the asymmetrical headlights on mine never bothered me. I just a 2010 and all I wish is that the came with either HIDs or LEDS instead. I think the asymmetrical lights of the last generations gave it a distinctive look.
Survivalist symmetrical means the same on both sides. He was saying the leds look better
7:47 asking the real questions!
Anyone else thought he dropped the bike at 3:40? Lol My heart STOPPED!
Same! I was mortified
yep he dropped that dam thing...hope they had sliders installed
could have just dropped camera
i think the cam just come off
if he dropped that bike he should be banned from riding ever again
Great review Man, cool👍
Best review of the new s1000rr so far
Another great review! 👏🏻👏🏻

Nice review great upgrades... Not many Chemtrails in the skies on that day at the track! 😱 😖

I want to see this one lined up against the 2016 s1000rr

Bikers version of v tech ?
the honda guys are experts on this :)
Good one!
Great looking bike,thks for video.
Bikes are getting like electronics changing every year. Guess I’ll just have to get a new bike every year. 😆👍
Amazing review💯👍
Great review and questions. 220 horses should be enough for my daily commuter! 😏

How does just changing the filter help in performance as opposed to the stock filter the bike comes with? Thanks in advance
I can feel this ride because I have it

@@ozbiker5311great thank. . . .if I'm not using for track I think the red model that is cheaper will be fine, thanks : )
So when you brake your clip on bend it or whatever. Now you have to buy the top clamp too lol.
*break. Idiot.
Background music name anyone?
So it’s not semi-active suspension? Just electronically controlled?

what is the beat dropping at :44 seconds ?
May be Shift cam basically works like a VVT - Variable Valve timing !
We love the bike but unfortunately we don't have enough money to buy it 😭😭😭
big 4 in Japan have to be scrambling now
That is the Estoril Autrodumo
Your face says it all.......Damn!......I want one now.

Unde și când a fost filmat? Nu e la lansarea oficială de la Estoril nu? Acolo era ud rău 🤣
Ba da, e lansarea de la Estoril. Au fost mai multe serii de jurnaliști. Noi am avut noroc.
