Thank you, Fr. Mike. Today is the 7th anniversary of my mom’s passing. 27 years ago, I lost my dad. On All souls Day, I buried my mentally challenged brother - COVID. Yes - sometimes you just want to throw in the towel. Thank you for reminding me what truth & hope are & I am not alone.

It's ok to "feel" disappointed. We often interpret feelings as being truth.

I thought the same thing. If I follow Jesus then God will be my personal happiness atm. Boy was I surprised.
We expect god to always console us and make us happy, but sometimes he needs to be consoled to, sometimes we should ask him what we can do to make him happy 🙏🕊️

If there was to be only one religion what would it be and if it is Catholic for people who aren't will they all go to hell?
Hey how are you? Only Jesus saves, the Catholic Church is messy but it is the Church God instituted. I see it as an act of good faith to trust His church despite its many failings. I invite you to study and deepen your faith.
As for salvation outside the Church, we hold that rejecting God's teaching to follow Him in His church is rejecting Him as well. With that, we really don't know and shouldn't condemn people. It is not up to us who gets saved. Trust and count on His mercy. He loves you. He loves you. He loves you. Respond to Him by loving with all you heart, mind and soul. I pray for you tonight. I hope you find joy and peace🕊️
