Congrats! I ordered one in October when they were first announced. Received it in January, one of the first on the street in the US. I’m strictly a street rider who likes curves, so the stock height and length will remain. So far: bar risers, double bubble shield, frame sliders, fender eliminator, radiator guard, Hindle 4-into-1 full exhaust with CF can, and ECU flash and tune by 2WDW. It looks great and pulls soooo hard now! I’ll be following your project.
Yup the performance is soo different when restrictions and tuneing is done...Noticed the same when i did my gen 3 zx10...The woolich kits are effing amazeing..

Beautiful 14R! I'm poised to snatch up a 40th anniversary edition myself. Get recommendations on the quickshifter you buy. I plan to go with an air shifter. My 08 ZX-14 didn't respond well to a high quality foot quickshifter. It missed shifts at 65 mls kill time and it was awfully rough on the transmission getting it back in gear on the fly. I'm sure I chipped gear dogs from the curved splinters I found in my oil change. The quickshifter wasn't real safe to use after that. Instead of sticking between gears, it would hit the rev limiter and slam back to the previous gear. That resulted in a huge high speed wheelie that scared the heck out me. Just make sure whatever you use is working for other ZX-14 owners. The transmission is big and it needs a longer kill time than a liter bike.
That 2024 Kawasaki ZX-14R might be the nicest paint scheme ever offered on the big Ninja. I have a 2013 in white that I've done some styling and performance mods on. It is a street bike so I've never gone too radical with it though.
Thinking about stepping into roll/drag racing. Could I have fun with a 2010 zx14 or should I spend a few more dollars on a stock 14r. The 2010 already has minor set up, exhaust, lowered, swingarm
Lol everyone loveing it cause its the 40th...Its basically the same bike as always sence its 1st version..Biggest dif is that kawi put a fancy paint scheme and called it the 40th....You all likely paid a bit more for the paint scheme.. In order to tune with a woolich ya gotta have the licence for the ecu,just cause you able to tune with the s1k it doesnt automatically work for the kawi..

It's a beautiful bike! If you want to maintain the retro look consider keeping it stock. It'll loose value with modifications.
