Allen Outdoors you got that right, that wind was killing us, when we left the house we were acclimated to 65 degree weather without wind. And when we got to the lake it was 50 degrees with a 10 to 15 mph wind. We weren’t dressed for it and it was cold. Lost my hat in the dark into the lake , but if we were in a tournament we would have weighed in with a 5 fish bag 21+ pounds at a guess. Either way it was fun. More fun for my buddy than me because he caught 3 times what I did lol but it did make for some good footage.

No I threw it back since we weren’t likely to catch anymore of them. They usually do not hit artificial Lures, I may have just snagged it, it was a first for me for sure. Power plant lakes stay warm all year therefore tilapia don’t die off when it gets cold. Water temp near the power plant was in the 80’s and it was 62 at the boat ramp on the other side of the lake
