The two corpses hooked up to the water tower in Midnight CIty was a call back to the first episode. Dark Wing attached them, and then said he would come back for them tomorrow. And he never saw a tomorrow.
So now I think they cloned him, but without telling him. Who knows how many Donalds there are in storage?
I think King Lizard in this episode was Prince Lizard back in the Atom Eve special (since that was 18 years ago), and I'm pretty sure Cecil or Donald mentioned him being in prison. So I guess he got out/escaped. And I think we all want better for Debbie 😞
