I have a cheap writing tablet similar to this and it feels like magic. I still not alur to believe this is happening during my life time something I imagined in my childhood.
Ik yall think this shit is stupid but this thing is life safer when studying for ochem and bio etc... saves a lot of paper.. and its a lot more fun and just smoother than writing on paper.. whenver i bring it out everyone around me gets excited lol
I just can't find out why they were able to invent such an amazing technology that could lead the market and then stupidly do not implement this shit with the most important features like storage of the written and editing possibilities. We'll really would appreciate that and I'd surely pay for the cost though, becuz wouldn't cost much more unlike absurdely expansive Sony's e-writer. It's kinda frying a golden eggs chicken for a modest dinner.
They have a couple models that can save, the rip which is discontinued, and the sync. They use an internal digitizer that quite frankly sucks ass. As for editing there are two problems. The first problem is the aforementioned digitization sucking ass, and the second is the fact that these operate pretty much the reverse of an electronic ink display. When the screen is "fresh" it's completely covered evenly with ink. When you press down you push the ink out of the way exposing the backer. When you press the erase button, it charges the backplate which attracts the ink to it and resets the display. In order to be able to recall even a shitty digitized record, you would need the backer to display that image as empty space in the magnet plate. There was a device planned to work like this called the noteslate, but that shit is never going to happen.
The Boogie Board Jot 8.5 does not support bluetooth. The app digitizes a photo of the surface. The Boogie Board Sync 9.7 does share via Bluetooth to their custom app.
I wish I'd seen this model before decided on one from Amazon. I looked at a few because I wanted specific requirements. I was buying it for my brother who is deaf. When he communicated with strangers ,work colleagues, members of public etc if he can't read their lips - especially with Lock down and everyone wearing masks; he sonetimes wrutesbit down especially if they person can't do sign language or us familiar with basic alphabet. He writes all conversations down bless him. So I decided to buy him an e writer with brighter screen and lock screen function so it gives sufficient time to read or discuss. I was excited for it to arrive. Bought a little pouch for it too. 10inch with stylus. But unfortunately it wasn't wgat is hoped. It was faulty, various things wouldn't work. It looked used as their were marks on the rear side. I won't go into too much detail so not to vote you rigid but tu fitbit short, I've had to try get refund which is totally inconvenient as the process is a pain. And i hsve ti rally out of area in lockdown too so facilities not open...I have to wait for refund THEN I can choose another in the meantime I am going to be later with my brothers gift. Proper let down. I'll check your description and see if i can get one as the screen is just like I wanted. But yours IS bright......the other? Well it that's what they call upgraded bright and new KCD upgrade for 2020 then we'll I must be losing my eyesight. It was totally the opposite of description and not cheap. Gutted for my bro because he doesn't have a clue I've got this and I feel he will really find it useful. Hes never had one not anyone thought to buy him one. I am looking forward to his reaction.....eventually 😞😟
I'd buy one if only it could allowed you to do animation in several layers, like in Toon Boom animation or stuff like that, that would be the best way to save some papers.
TIMELINE 1min:15sec to 1min:18sec . This is NOT SYNC VIA BLUETOOTH. THIS IS USING SMARTPHONE CAMERA and SOFTWARE to DETERMINE THE SCREEN CONTENT. This is PLAIN SOFTWARE EXTRAPOLATION. NOT Data Transfer via BT. ALSO the DATA is not in VECTOR GRAPHIC.
Might be missing the point, but why not just write it on a regular piece of paper? Or just put it into the notes app on your phone? Lol seems like a lot of extra work for no reason.
The point is in theory this could digitally record all your thousands of notes that you would be doing every day and the feeling is closest to writing or drawing the notes on paper and battery life really long, ultra thin and etc.
+EinkOLED Not nice like paper. Not 7-year battery life on a coin-cell and sunlight readable. CH-LCD could be a really great way to give rebirth to handwriting in the digital age. All they need is to combine CH-LCD with a touch sensor and they have an absolute killer product. All your handwritten notes do save to your smartphone over Bluetooth, but you don't do most of your notes on your smartphone you would do it on the CH-LCD notepad. I also like E Ink a lot and I also think E Ink needs to take much more of the space in which text is at, the marketing from E Ink has been way too timid over the past years, not realizing their potential to replace the book and magazine in every way. Backlit phone displays and AMOLED is not as usable an alternative.
+ARMdevices.net completely agreed with you, although I think they should add feature to record the board as we write so that it can also be used for making tutorial and stuff.
+Master Trader Exactly, just to combine with a touch sensor, then in realtime over Bluetooth the notes can go to any Smartphone, to be used for tutorials and whatever. The experience of taking notes on CH-LCD is really great, but I only like it if it also has a good touch sensor to record all the notes and scribbling done. Recording with the smartphone camera is so-so, much better if they integrate a nice thin and super percise touch sensor and Bluetooth low energy.
Stupid, they should rather focus on a black board model. So, professors, tutors etc will write down on the board and you don't have to take notes, if they can sync voice in it, and you have this kind of a board also with you, you can just tap in the voice and graphics(text and pics) to have your notes much better.
***** I don't think so, maybe they dropped it from a height. This comment really makes me think "My 3 year old granddaughter could not break it and works so well" If 3 year olds can't break things then I don't think anyone can. But looking at it, it surely does look breakable.
Do Invent... 1. Make Wi-Fi Enable 2. Connect to Education Site for Text Books 3. Save Written Documents 4. Reduce unnecessary options 5. Reduce price upto $5 to $10 (Easy for Charity) 6. Make this product savvy for education 7. Make more R&D. If all done will revolutionary. Thanks
They have that now. They launched recently the Carbon Copy Pen, it saves to your Android/iOS device though by just tapping with the pen to the corner before clearing each page.

Which tablet did you get?
@@cocoajunkie it's some generic writing tablet you can get online. You can't save anything written. I got it for ₹ 500, which is roughly 1$
what’s the battery life?
Ik yall think this shit is stupid but this thing is life safer when studying for ochem and bio etc... saves a lot of paper.. and its a lot more fun and just smoother than writing on paper.. whenver i bring it out everyone around me gets excited lol
DO a bigger screen like 100" for presentation meeting use can writing or don't need use a whiteboard again without marker pen.
100" LCDs aren't easy to make or come by. Plus there is no erase feature. So a whiteboard is a better option.
They have a 55" version available.

I have a blue boogie board💙I luv it
very cool writing board.

I playing with my boogie board
Did you see the scratches on that screen?
not scratches just really dirty
The first boogie board he showed is the one I have but it's blue
does it store the written notes and can i transfer it to my computer or mobile or can it take printout
How can i save the notes ?,.. why cant just they put a memory storage rather than scanning on our cellphone.. Time consuming 😑
They did, and it costs more for that model because of the underlying technology and electronics required to do that.
it creeped on the hands of my kids on first day purchased
Oof
What am I missing? Why didn't he just write that on his phone in the first place. And eliminate the picture?
nr3rful it is trying to stop paper usage
That pen is good but I need eraser to like that pen
whats the name of the app
Take a guess. It's not rocket science.
Might be missing the point, but why not just write it on a regular piece of paper? Or just put it into the notes app on your phone? Lol seems like a lot of extra work for no reason.

from where i can buy it in $ 29 only or less
you can get it at Cosgo, Staples, & online
I can also write on my smartphone.

EinkOLED same here! waa waaa waaaaaa!
Boy that it no boogie board
Save kaise kare
What's the app?
Boogie board sync apps name
The title is misleading. no blutooth at all.
Stupid, they should rather focus on a black board model. *****
You can make it unbreakable by using suitable support structures around the screen.
*****
That's true. Also I didn't think about price because this seems to be relatively new tech, to put this in schools is too risky.
*****
I don't think so, maybe they dropped it from a height.

Gaia
Taking notes is proven to help learning. Get an education.
Its a little more expensive than that...
Lame. It can't hook up to your laptop for saving - you have to take a picture of the screen. silly
Mine doesn't do and it's the same 8.5 model I call me please BS!!
Do what write? That's all it's made to do.

19 usd inc. shipment to eur. totaly bullshit .
this is so dumb. Why not just give it an sd slot and save as image function?
They have that now. They launched recently the Carbon Copy Pen, it saves to your Android/iOS device though by just tapping with the pen to the corner before clearing each page.
@@charbax let me guess for an extra hundred bucks you can buy the pen for a save feature that should be included in to the device already?
Lmfao no one has time for this white background and scanning nonsense. Market the device for its simplicity, don't push it.
justforthetv the sync scans by it self
