I am so terrible at eyeliner no matter how often I practice. Thank you so much for showing beautiful eye looks without always adding so much eyeliner. The shadows can really be beautiful on their own 😍
and sometimes ppl do amazing eyeshadow work and cover it all up w/ graphic liner like....
I know eyeliner is so overrated! I hate the way it looks on my eyes and the worst is when you get done with alll your makeup just to mess up your liner, and haveta wash everything off and go barefaced! 😑
ULTA also makes an amazing Powder Foundation. I’ve been using it for years, it’s just as good if not better than most high end products.

I bought the matte cream eyeshadows because of you, same colors and truly obsessed. Best I’ve ever used, from the swatches I was looking up on google there WERE more colors in the past and they seem to have dwindled down the collection 😓 hope they add more again, thank you for the recommendation seriously 💓💓

I bought the bouncy cream shadow in Italian Ice because of you, and it is so GORGEOUS in person!! Such an easy formula for everyday wear, and I so appreciate your recommendation!
This has nothing to do w Ulta~I’m a newer subscriber and thanks to you I’ve tried a LIFE CHANGING product! I just picked up the kossas concealer in color 1.5 during the Sephora sale and it has been the first concealer that hides my Mylar fissure hollows due to age 👏🏻👏🏻💕💕💕. Thank you so very much🌷ps. The Ulta slim eyebrow pencil is excellent!

That mascara concept was definitely first created by a Japanese drugstore brand I forgot the name of, but I saw it years ago on a Japanese youtuber channel. But nice to know that we get to try one by Ulta here. ☺️

I’m now hooked on bouncy cream shadows after I learned about them from you. Have you seen the travel Mini Eye Shadow Palette in daydream that has some bouncy cream shades in it? It’s the size of a credit card and so stinking cute. I like all the bouncy creams you recommended plus raspberry ice and buttercream. I have a feeling the buttercream, Sugar tinted lip in Icon, and a white t-shirt will be my summer uniform. I’ve been using the raspberry color this spring under the 11:11 colors and New Moon. Ohh, a perfect pair video from you would be an amazing follow up to your one and done videos.
I went and bought 2 of the matte creme shadows because of one of your vids and oh my God, they are amazing! I can buff them into my crease, blow them out a little, and I’m done. Easiest eyeshadow ever and stays all day. I also hope they come out with more shades!!

I have the lustrous foil eye shadow, in the shades: copper leaf & rose gold leaf!
They’re so beautiful! I totally forgot I had these ! 🙈 but now seeing your video on this I have a new way to apply them ! Thank you!! When I was using the copper leaf I felt it was too chunky on my eyes ... so now I’ll just apply it using your very helpful tips !! 🙂✨
I wore the copper leaf as a halo eye using the urban decay heat palette and since I have hazel colored eyes & I loved how it made my eyes pop ! 😊✨❤️
The Ulta Twisted Volume Mascara looks like a dupe for By Terry Lash Expert Twist Brush Mascara. It's currently my favorite but it comes with a $30 price tag vs. Ulta's.
I bought the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize in Oyster Pearl and the Sephora #18 brush because of your videos! I love it so much!
I have both of those also, and like them very much. Recently got the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize in Rose Gold. They are so pretty!
So so helpful, Amanda. Something to add, in case anyone is considering it, is that the Too Faced melted chocolate (I *think* is the name) shadow in the shade "tirami-sue me" is incredibly similar to the Ulta matte cream in the Vintage Beauty shade. I (regrettably) haven't tried the Ulta but seeing the demo and hearing you speak to the text has me convinced that they are very similar. I'm actually going to purchase the Ulta one in a minute because I think that the form might even be better for me in the sense that the Too Faced walks the line between a nice texture on my dry skin and the "paint-like" texture you talked about. Also, for fair-skinned people who prefer lighter-colored shadows (listen, I feel very Elvira-y in anything darker than a medium shadow), the Tirami-sue me shade is the lightest. I also got the **something malt** shade and it's just too deep of a shade for my shadow personally and I remember that the Ulta ones definitely go lighter so if anyone needs that info, there ya go.

I need to try the foundation stick! They used to have a color correcting one that had a green core, and the formula was amazing! They discontinued it and I’ve been meaning to try this one! Maybe I’ll give some of the eyeshadows a try when I place that order!

I found Ulta's Youthful Glow Concealer to be a pretty close dupe of the Rare Beauty concealer!
Also the glossier concealer!

I loved their foundation. It was a very good color match. When it was discontinued, I gave a few of their other foundations formulas a try and loved them too. Thx for another wonderful video. :)
That stick foundation and your description of it really reminds me of the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue stick.

Great concept. I have both formulas of the cream shadows. I love the radiant shine lipsticks. The best shades are Fabulous, Dreamer, Game Changer, and Star Stuck!

Those eyeshadows are absolutely STUNNING. It definitely is tempting me to place an order to Ulta from up here in Canada.

Hi Michelle 😊 I use the 24/7 glide on pencils for a more smoky smudgy look from urban decay! I am doing a lot less graphic liner because I did my makeup like that since I was like 14!!! But the Clinique easy liner is a good one!

I bought the matte cream shadow because of you and I haven't touched any of my other shadows since. It's such a good product and I love the finish.
I remember when we got these in years ago. They came out when Stella had a product that looked like this, but it came with a tiny metal lid and a small bottle of a mixing medium. You were supposed to mix the two products together and you would get a foiled affect. So if you have any kind of mixer I can’t think of one off the top of my head, maybe a liquid glitter adhesive might work. I know this video is really old, but yeah, I was looked at these, but I never bought them.
You reminded me I have an ULTA lip oil I need to bring out for winter! Really nice!! Their powder shadows are great. Wish they'd add more!

Yay excited for this video from you amanda. I havent tried any ulta makeup since probably early 2000s ish, after trying a few via purchases and samples and being horribly disappointed. I've been wondering about their products in recent years but havent paid much attention to any of them...

The way you described the stick foundation and how it feels when you apply it to the skin, sounds like a promising dupe for the BareMinerals Rescue Hydrating stick foundation!
I bought the ulta cream eye shadow finally that you been raving about lol. I get them on the 20th I also got the hourglass seamless foundation stick. I loved a lil sample I had and had to get a full size. Thank you for the recommendation

How would you compare these formulas to, say, Charlotte tilbury pots or supershock shadows
I was just about to place an Ulta order... yeah, my cart items increased. Haha.
I hope some of the Bouncy Cream shadows come back into stock!! I tried Raspberry Ice but find that on the eye it looks nothing like it does in the pan, and not in a good way (at least on my fair skin tone). I like the formula so I’d love to try Maple Pecan.

By Terry had/has a twist mascara, maybe that's the one you're referring to. However, it doesn't have the different settings like the one from Ulta.

I’ve definitely had good experiences with so many Ulta makeup products. Though I’ve never tried any of the base products or powders. Time to change that.

Oh I haven’t seen that one. I’ll have to check it out. Hopefully it will be a bit more pigmented bc I have serious genetic dark circles that are a pain to cover.

please please please try the ulta beauty natural glow bronzer. i saw someone else recommend it and i would love your opinion!
The unique thing I've found about the Ulta Full Coverage concealer is that it's the only concealer I own (and I own many, high end and drugstore!) that sticks to textured skin or rawer skin. Sometimes when I have a scab or raw skin around my nose from a cold, any concealer I put over it just comes straight off when I try to blend it, no matter how many layers I add. The Ulta Full Coverage stays on from the first layer. I don't know what it is about the formula that it's the only one that does that for me. I'll seriously cry if it ever gets discontinued.
Those cream eye shadows from Ulta are beautiful colors but I find the texture to be a little chunky. Even in this video you can see little chunks… too bad, because the colors are so good.

these are thinner and more moussey- the smashbox are thinner and more of a "paint" kind of texture! I hope this helps!
