Not really. Movie conveniently forgot that flashbang grenades are helluva LOUD as well. Therefore, for a blind man, who relies heavily on it's ears, loud noises can be even more traumatic than for a regular human.
Donnie Yen was just so fuckin cool in this role. The blind aspect of his character could derive such an awesome concept of a hit man, and make for a great spinoff if they don't intend on making any additional John Wick films.
I just love how diverse the characters' fightong styles are in this movie. Like, in only one scene, you've got multiple characters thatnd the all find their own creative ways of killing people: Cain is more focused on swordfighting, John is the full package kind mixing both hand to hand combat and guns, the tracker is ✨le doggo✨ and Killa only uses them hands. It's not just punch punch shoot shoot, there's genuine variety
Caine has a pair of Ace, and the other guy has a royal flush, and the host said they`re not wining means he can`t have a bigger royal flush, the only way is that he cheated, so Caine knows.
Damn lol I watched it in theatres and I don’t even remember this or any other scene at all 😂 I think John Wick the character is cool and revived Keanu’s career, but he has less and less dialogue in each movie and it’s just mindless action most of the time. It’s fine if I’m in the mood for that I guess. Glad there’s a large contingent of people that thoroughly enjoy the franchise though!
