Caps ain't my team, but they got my 1st pick on both RR drafts. Still my favorite remains the first one, absolutely in love with it.
By the way, those close-ups are really nice, playing with lighting could be funny.
I'm glad they went with the font that was originally used on the inspiration jersey. The number font was so unique and I'm glad to see it revived, even if only for a couple games they wear this jersey.
I got the Tampa Bay RR 2.0 pre-stiched with Stamkos on it and it looks soooooo good in person! (I'm a Rangers fan by I collect from all teams)

@@fantasticvoyage262 Living in Europe it's both very hard and expensive to get jerseys pro-stiched. I do have two Rangers jerseys that are pro-stiched, but I bought those used on eBay.

Love the Capitals 2.0 Reverse Retro jersey. I'm also getting mine with Ovechkin on it. All my Capitals jerseys have Ovechkin on it and I will also get my Capitals away jersey customized with Ovechkin when I want to.
My own Capitals RR size 52 fit slightly smaller in the chest and arms than my other prime green 52s. I’ve also had a labeled size 50 jersey actually measure out to be a 46 so I would check that, especially cause you mentioned the arm length.
Yea, their sizing seems a tad off. I just got a Detroit Larkin (size 52) and Vancouver Pettersson (Size 54) Reverse Retro and the fit is the exact same.
Mine and my wife's Seattle RR jerseys fit a bit smaller too
The adidas name and numbers are no longer as bad as they use to be. Sports Closet sent me photos of the factory name and number of the oilers to compare against hand stitched, and they used better fabric and beveled embroidery.
So what you would have seen in the promo pics were the new style adidas factory number kits
Everyone out there has been complaining that the capitals reverse retro is cut smaller. There are dozens of comparison videos on RUclips if you do a search. I just received my pittsburgh reverse retro on Saturday. I ordered it from cool hockey with your link. Its blank for now, but I wanted it mostly for the nostalgia of that gorgeous robo penguin.
I got my Florida panthers reverse retro and it is so nice in person
I also have a new caps reverse retro and my sleeves are also shorter than the typical size 52. I also have a new Vegas reverse retro but the sleeves are normal length, so it must just be a capitals thing. I also think the sleeves are a little tighter than normal too.
The sleeves are tighter on both? Or just the Capitals?
I've noticed the same thing with my Caps 2.0 in size 52.
Happy to say I snagged the last one on the Caps online shop. Of the 4 RR 2.0s I've got so far the sleeves on this one are noticabley shorter by close to an inch. The others are all consistent and longer so maybe it's specific to the Caps

Yea its a really sick looking jersey. I think better than last one. I prefer when alternates are a real difference than their usual set.

My first 3 RR 2.0's arrived last week, Capitals, Kings and Wild. Got them first as they were 3 RR 1.0's that I missed out on that annoyed me the most!! Got another box of 3 and another one 2.0's on the way as we speak.....and there'll be more coming after that, all blanks though. 🙂

The Capitals Reverse Retro 2.0 jersey is a nice one one of the best of the 2.0 jersey line I hardly see it online I wonder if it's very hardly to find

I also sold my retro reverse Washington 1.0 that had ovi on the back, hopefully I will find myself this 2.0 has that’s the reason I sold it

It was done that way on purpose for the whole Reverse Retro program
Its actually quite awesome. The intricacies in that logo alone are pretty amazing.
I like that it is embroidered. That's how it should always be.
But the real question is:
Why is this not their regular jersey?
Yes! And make a white one for away. I always loved their black and bronze era over the (generic) red and blue one
Unfortunately in order to afford 3 reverse retros I had to opt out on the customization, I went with Tampa Bay, Arizona, And Boston. The Boston one is slowly becoming my favourite out of the three.
My Islanders RR (size 56) is a bit smaller than my regular 56 Primegreen jersey. No regrets though.
Definitely top 3 for me if not the best, I’m a caps fan and just wish we could go back to the screaming eagle permanently rather it’s the og colors or the red white and blue
Thats interesting about you sayin that your sleevs feel smaller. I have two prime green jerseys both size 42. The TBL home jersey and there new reverse retro 2.0 jersey and the RR 2.0 feels like the sleaves are shorter the the reagular one. Not by much but just a tiny bit.
The second he said "it sold out immediately" i knew it was the Caps RR.
I think this year's batch of retros are better than round 1 last year.
I ordered a Fanatics blank Caps day of. They only had blanks left in adult sizes. I didn't want to get an Ovechkin because EVERYONE AND BOTH OF THEIR PARENTS gets Ovechkin jerseys. I like getting lesser known players.

Completely true I wear a size 50 have this exact jersey is smaller than primegreen and even smaller than areoready . 52 used to be baggy fit now in the new winter classic one I just picked up it’s perfect
It is quite nice I won't lie, but I'm sorry, the penguins one is still the top dog. And I'm not saying that just because I'm a pens die hard, but that robopen logo and the way the shoulders are done just make that baby pop. ROBOPEN 4 LIFE, MAKE THIS PERMANENT PENS!

I did manged to get my hometown team's in the New York metropolitan area Tri-State Area NY/NJ Rangers, Islanders, Devils Reverse Retro 2.0 jerseys die hard NY Sports fan and all 3 jerseys look nice in person also got the beanie knit hats to match the jerseys as well

When do you expect to receive your hand stitched reverse retro?
On the hockeyjerseys Reddit a number of people have complained that the Washington Capitals have sizing issues. Terrible quality control by adidas. I ordered a 46 with BenH so I’m expecting mine to fit like a size 42.
How did you get yours already? I ordered that exact jersey and they’ve been saying it’ll be January before the hand stitched versions start to ship. Looks incredible though, can’t wait for mine to get here!

Lol. Their reverse retro is just not an attractive looking jersey. I figure you'll see lots of them on clearance in a couple year's time because they didn't sell, just like their first attempt at a reverse retro.

So glad you're enjoying your Capitals jersey. But I must say it's not at all a favorite of mine. Bur that's cool. We all have different tastes. I don't understand one thing. If you probably paid a lot for it. Why put up with creases, glue Mark's, and loose threads? Is that common when buying jerseys? I have a few baseball jerseys, and I wouldn't accept it, nor have I gotten any with imperfections.
All minor imperfections I can fix, and truthfully it wouldn't matter if I couldn't do anything about it because I couldn't replace it even if I wanted to because it's sold out everyone. However, I have a sneaky way around this so stay tuned for the next unboxing video :)
Of course jerseys are made months before they come out. Thats how production works! It would be a shitshow to send products as soon as they they’re made direct from the factory. Everything ever manufactured is planned to sit in a warehouse before their launch date. And if they’re not, that company doesn’t have their shit together.

There are quite a few good ones. I really like the Detroit RR, it’s grown on me more than when I first saw it. But my favorite is Vancouver and Florida
