Watched madgaon express yesterday! The theater audience was in splits throughout the film. Had such a fun time after reallllly long watching a hindi comedy film. Would definitely suggest others to give the movie and its talent a fair chance

My biggest problem in "veer savarkar" movie is how they spread misinformation about netaji subhash chandra bose . The movie shows whatever bose did savarkar told him to do so. In my opinion 'Left wing is abusing Sawarkar and Right wing is misusing Sawarkar'. Sawarkar is a freedom fighter there is no doubt about it. But saying that Gandhi and congress (of nationalist movement time) delayed Independence is huge injustice and disrespect to our freedom movement. Randeep Huda is a great actor but movie is not well researched. It conveys truth but partial, suiting to the present political current.
Look at it from this perspective. Har insaan perfect nahi hota. Gandhi and the Congress may not have intended for delays but the fact is that their policies did cause them. Be objective when you read about history and don't put anyone on a pedestal.

Watched the movie last night and we'll unfortunately Savarkar's file and contributions were so impactful and numerous that it is almost impossible to cover them all with full impact.. so that's what I think is one feedback on film.. I think to show in a more meaningful way they should have chosen one line and made everything from that perspective.. eg. I feel the biggest thing of savarkar was his thoughts and expression (like that guy said he, savarkar could convince anyone of the cause) so it could have all been from that angle may be.... And also some casting dint quite click like madam cama .. lastly the movie somehow did not bring out all of the pain had already gone with in my heart... Like savarkar walking back after the whipping...this scene simultaneously had so much pain and anger in me but the movie could vibe at that level in visual presentation.. I was in pain and angry coz I imagined how bad it actually would have been
With randeep' s acting I guess he is a brilliant actor but the kind of statements he passed on against Mahatma Gandhi by saying that if Gandhi was not present than India would have been independent by 1912 but the reality is Gandhi returned to India in 1915 ..... Just watched madgaon express what a movie 🍿 what story telling with perfect direction and punch lines go watch with your group of friends dont miss this movie at all its a laughter riot 🎉
1 - Savarkar was sanctioned a pension post jail time by the British. 2 - He named himself "Veer" in his book written under a pen name. 3 - In his 3rd mercy petition, he even told he would give up the names of a few freedom fighters. 4 - At the age of 12, he went to destroy a mosque. All of these facts are well documented yet tactfully but wrongfully skipped in the movie. A person's good & bad deeds both should be put up in a movie for the audience to judge the person but instead, here, whitewashing has been conducted upto a certain level. No doubt Randeep Hooda is one the finest method actors in the country but an underrated artist is steered by the commands of his/her fund provider so it possibly wasn't his fault. Also, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Khudiram Bose being inspired by Savarkar is a totally false information that's kept in the movie which has absolutely no basis or genuine source. So, please DON'T consider this movie as a history lesson🙏🏼

V D Savarkar movie was Awesome.
We should respect savarkar for his scientific and rationalistic approach and reformative attitude towards hinduism on issues like caste and untouchability but his politics was hostile for nation... He may be a honest man but honesty is an overhyped virtue... Even aurangzeb and Hitler were honest so worked their ass off to destroy others... Gandhi is great because he new these short comings in human ideology and religions... He was true humanitarian....
Vinayak savarkar faced 12 years in kalapani, his elder brother narayan savarakar faced 10 years in kala pani, his younger brother ganesh savarakar was lynched to death by so called non violent gandhi fanatics but here some random person easily talks shit about his sacrifices while proxy gandhi family who looted the nation for 65+ years is great 😂😂😂🙏🙏. Now you see who's the real andhbhakt.

Watched the movie last night and we'll unfortunately Savarkar's file and contributions were so impactful and numerous that it is almost impossible to cover them all with full impact.. so that's what I think is one feedback on film.. I think to show in a more meaningful way they should have chosen one line and made everything from that perspective.. eg. I feel the biggest thing of savarkar was his thoughts and expression (like that guy said he, savarkar could convince anyone of the cause) so it could have all been from that angle may be.... And also some casting dint quite click like madam cama .. lastly the movie somehow did not bring out all of the pain had already gone with in my heart... Like savarkar walking back after the whipping...this scene simultaneously had so much pain and anger in me but the movie could vibe at that level in visual presentation.. I was in pain and angry coz I imagined how bad it actually would have been

With randeep' s acting I guess he is a brilliant actor but the kind of statements he passed on against Mahatma Gandhi by saying that if Gandhi was not present than India would have been independent by 1912 but the reality is Gandhi returned to India in 1915 ..... The kind of statements randeep passed on in news channel was the main reason I felt like this movie was biased ...

Just watched madgaon express what a movie 🍿 what story telling with perfect direction and punch lines go watch with your group of friends dont miss this movie at all its a laughter riot 🎉
1 - Savarkar was sanctioned a pension post jail time by the British. 2 - He named himself "Veer" in his book written under a pen name. 3 - In his 3rd mercy petition, he even told he would give up the names of a few freedom fighters. 4 - At the age of 12, he went to destroy a mosque. All of these facts are well documented yet tactfully but wrongfully skipped in the movie. A person's good & bad deeds both should be put up in a movie for the audience to judge the person but instead, here, whitewashing has been conducted upto a certain level. No doubt Randeep Hooda is one the finest method actors in the country but an underrated artist is steered by the commands of his/her fund provider so it possibly wasn't his fault. Also, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Khudiram Bose being inspired by Savarkar is a totally false information that's kept in the movie which has absolutely no basis or genuine source. So, please DON'T consider this movie as a history lesson🙏🏼

1) 100 rs was given to jailer and not to Gandhiji while he was in jail. Moreover, Gandhi declined to use that 100 rs. You can search about this.
2) Savarkar used that money to do interest buisness.
3) Savarkar formed coalition government with Muslim League in 1942 after their demand for Pakistan.

Savarkar’s book on 1857 sepoy mutiny gets translated in 1909, Bhagat Singh was born in 1907. Movie shows Young Bhagat Singh requesting Savarkar to translate his book from Marathi to English. But you know effort bhot daala hai Randeep Hooda ne 😅😅😅. Change entire history and tell a half baked, narrative driven story and proclaim History was hidden from us. The movie is based on factual errors in history and caricature of independence heroes..people should watch it as a fiction story no issues but calling history was hidden from us is utter and the stupidest logic fed and brainwashed to the middle class Indians 🙏🏾
