I know, I know, I wasn’t here last weekend and now I’m late this weekend but I swear it’s not because I don’t love you and I don’t have things for you to practice over the weekend. Last weekend I was playing a festival with the John Hartford Fiddle Tune Project and there was zero service and this weekend I’m in Weiser, ID teaching at the bluegrass camp - these are valid excuses, right? But the weekend isn’t over and I want you to practice counting into pickup notes so that everyone can land in the song at the same time and it’s a magical musical experience for all involved. I hope you’re all doing well and staying cool, dry, or just generally contented. 💜
