It's also fair to say that although Windows 98 can normally run Windows 95 drivers, the performance won't always be as good. If you're still contemplating the upgrade then things are a lot easier now, since nearly all manufacturers have since released newer versions of their software drivers that are compatible with both Windows 95 and 98.
