Looking for info to stop the invasion I came across your video, but you seem to help them even further 😅 as far as I gathered from the Internet you should cut them back right after blooming so the next stage of shooting seeds everywhere is stopped. Have you tried that? And where to cut? I do have a bundle of seeds gathered just in case I'm killing it so I'm willing to gamble a bit but maybe you dealt with it?

Took some 3 inch cuttings in coco coir from a plant growing from under my neighbours fence. Hopefully they take and I can plant them out this spring.

Yes, it can appear like that. Always wear gloves , I only wear them when cutting back the spent flowers, but it's good practice to wear them always.

I'm in the UK so I can't answer the hummingbird one, but yes to bees and flies etc.
