I love how instead of giving it the exposed eye it has like a glass cover over it. My favourite design yet
I wonder how it would clean the glass. It’s bound to get covered in dust in sand eventually.
@@halcyonacoustic7366 Alternating ionic electric charge to repel dust and sand? Best guess.
@@halcyonacoustic7366
Think of it like a snake's eyes. Snakes actually have transparent scales over their eyes, called eyecaps. With snakes, they shed these with the rest of their skin on a regular basis. Downside is that the eyecap itself does hamper their vision somewhat. I have a plains hognose snake that's currently in shed right now, and when she's in shed her eyes turn blue and cloudy. This is due to a lubricant that snakes secrete under their eyecaps to make shedding them easier.
With Magnemite, Magneton and Magnezone I'd imagine they have a similar process, except involving collecting and electrically flash-frying silicates into glass to form a new eyecap underneath the old. Actually, that could mean that the sand that collects on the outer eyecap actually gets used to form the inner one.
@VestedUTuber how could the sand on the outside come to make up the glass on the inside? There's glass in the way
@@MarioMonte13
They'd probably have some method of taking it in.
The reflectiveness is great, and I love how the eye isn't directly exposed but has like glass covering it
Wow it's called an eyelid duhh *(joking)
Cant get sand in that eye
@@EliousEntertainment that's true, it's course and rough, and it gets everywhere
@@CrimsonDamian think it's safe to say they don't like sand
Steel types in CGI turn surprisingly good their unique way
Id love to see skarmory like this
Thanks!
Fun fact: Magneton is 3 Magnemites, yet it weighs 10 times more.
maybe denser materials
Where does the extra weight come from?
Magneton: mmm... cake...
I mean... How can anyone weigh something that has the power to defy gravity? Weight is dependent on gravity.
Maybe the magnets make them seem heavier
It comes from the weight of their dark and troubled past.
Awesome, hire this man for the next live-action pokemon movie.
He's using Unreal Engine, in any way he can!
I need a pokemon species documentary like this 🎉
I need a walking with pokemon ❤
I love how they look around. And I love how, even when communicating, they only make brief eye contact, then allow their eyes to wander a bit, like you'd see real animals do.
I love that the Magneton's eyes all move in sync, it really helps sell it as a single Pokemon instead of three Magnemites stuck together
I mean, that's how a lot of multi-eyed species function.
@@SonnyFRST Yea that's what they're saying. It gives is the authenticity that it is one being, and not just three separate Magnemites.
soft implication that they become a hive mind when they evolve
I love this. It kinda feels like this would be on the same channel as professor oak’s lectures as seen in Kanto.
I really like how magnemite also has a protective clear lends protruding from the eye.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
As a wildlife ecologist who’s loved Pokémon his whole life … this is a dream come true
I love that it has a lens.
This design is breathtaking 😊
To say the least!!
Thank you
Dude this easily your best design yet
Thank you 😊
magnemite: "has a rich history dating back almost 3000 years"
horseshoe magnet: invented in 1821
If arceus has taught us, it’s that pokemon can evolve, not just as a means of gaining strength, but generally as it’s species grows overtime.
Who knows what magnemites looked like in their early species evolution.
Plus, this is in the pokemon universe, the realm of reality is seperated between ours and theirs.
where do you think humans got the idea from?
by studying magnetite, replicating their abilities
I like how you specify that Magnemite tend to flee, seeing as in Gen 2, it was one of the only Pokemon outside of the legendary beasts that could flee.
Yeah! I DEFINITELY NEW THAT and TOTALLY included that info because I did my research and accurately incorporated it into the script🫣
@@EliousEntertainment I’m onto you…👁️ 👄 👁️
I remember 22 years ago when on Silver a shiny Quagsire fled from me. I’m still mad about it.
I always felt that Magnemite was adorable, but I didn't know why. This video really captures the docile, timid nature of what is ostensibly a ball with an eye, three screws and two magnets. It's about animation, not simple appearance. You did a great job bringing Magnemite to life! (And with the way technology is developing, that may be a legitimate Pokemon to truly create, haha).
Y’all gotta start making these more brutal like animal documentaries where nature shows no mercy
Maybe when they get to Predatory Pokémon.
Or Mewtwo.
but...but I don't want em to get hurt😢 (Translation: I'm way to lazy to animate that /j)
@@EliousEntertainment Fair enough lol I wish I was good enough at this kind of stuff to help ya lol
This is actually so wholesome
Brings back my old Magnemite from blue: SHUTDOWN, THE I-WANTED-SOMETHING-OTHER-THAN-PIKACHU-TO-ZAP-STUFF-WITH POKEMON!
ZAPDOS WHAT
You know... it's interesting, Magnemite is found near water specifically. Cerulean. Chargestone Cave.
Kanto Power Plant, routes 6, 11, 38 and 39, New Mawville, Fuego Ironworks and route 222, Virbank Complex, Hau'oli City and Malie City, Challenge Beach, Cobalt Coastlands, East Province areas 2 and 3 and Area Zero Chargestone Cavern as well (different from Unova's Chargestone Cave).
That being said there are a couple other areas that _aren't_ near water, such as the Hotel Ruins in Kalos. You don't find Magnemite there but you do find Magneton, though I'd chalk that up to the area being a higher level area where Magnemite are a bit obsolete gameplay-wise at that point, and if I were making an open-world hack or fangame of Pokemon X or Y I'd definitely have Magnemite hanging out in the grass in that area while Magneton would be in the ruins themselves.
Magnemite has always been one of my favorite pokemon back in the day. I just love strange/enigmatic Pokémon. So simple, yet so mysterious. Beautiful showcase!
Ohh it looks so cute i just wanna cuddle it 🥺
DO IT
DEW ET
This is why Magnemite is my favorite Electric Pokémon! We must huggle him!!! 😁✊🏾
The animation and the documentary-like direction, that’s really cool.
Thanks!
@@EliousEntertainment You're welcome! ^^
It's my fav one omgg so happy to see it like that, ty so much !!
I'm glad you like it!
I still remember when Pokemon had Gameboy graphics. Now it looks real. This is really cool, good job.
The sheer amount of brushfires they would start is astounding.
I love that you referenced their propensity for fleeing battles, that feature drove me crazy in gen2 lol
Beautifully voiced AND animated!!
I grew up with the original generations of the games (I'm now 32)... And I can unequivocally say that nothing has been able to capture the sense of wonder I felt as a kid quite like this series does.
I kind of wanted to see what a Magnezone would look like with these insane animations. Magnemite looks excellent
I dunno why but I find the way magnemite is rendered here absolutely adorable
I want to find a person who has never been exposed to Pokémon and see if they fall for this. It's done so well that I could almost believe it's real.
Seeing what an IRL Magnemite looks like, hovering over a sandy desert, made me realize just how absurd a design Magnemite is, and I love it and it's equally ridiculous evolution Magneton for it.
A lot of gen 1 designs are an absurdest dream. A plie of vines, a purple onion, a group of self aware eggs that grows into a palm tree.
this is so incredible!!! it’s shocking to me how this hasn’t blown up, your content is so beyond high quality and unique in a big way. loves it!
Thank you so much!!
I just stumbled across your work. You just got yourself a new subscriber, mate
Thanks and welcome
Magnemites living in the desert? So it’s those little bastards that’s starting all the wildfires!
Wow! This is underrated, I hope it blows up.
Thanks! I hope so too
I’m surprised you didn’t mention Sandy Shocks when talking about Magnemite’s adaptations and changes over time.
0:34 Missed opportunity to hint at Sandy Shocks
The design is really good! As others have said the glass dome over the eye is a great touch. I also like the little dents and scratches. Makes it feel like a creature in a rugged environment like the desert it called home.
This.......Kudos! the whole thing! no telling what time and practice will turn your videos into!!
Wow, you blew me away! I love the little electric sparks.
Thank you!
I love Magneton, Magnemite is adorable here too! Thank you for mainly our beloved trio into an amazing living object in CGI
I didn't search for this. I've never heard of your channel. this is amazing. I want more.
@@RaindropsBleeding got a whole playlist on the channel for yah
yea, ive come across some in the badlands. they're very docile and not afraid of humans.
Kind calm pokemon 😊
Magnemite is my favorite Pokemon, THANK YOU THIS IS BRILLIANT!
Funny thought: An “organic” Magnemite would look like a floating potato battery
This channel deserves so many subs❤❤
Thank you!

*"Sup guys."*
*"Hey Hey Hey"*
*"So you see this guy watching us right?"*
This was SO cute. Magnemite are one of my fav pokemon and it looks amazing here!
This is amazing. Looks so natural. Do more steel types man they come to life with your animations! Skarmory, aggron skinline etc would look amazing!
Magnemite and it's evolutions were the first non-mascot pokemon I ever saw and it's been my favorite ever since. This is truly an amazing animation!
I'm glad you remembered GSC Magnemite's tendencies to run away from a battle rather than fully engage as would be standard in most, if not every, other generations.
Also, great design! I always imagined it would have some sort of lens to protect its eyeball, and you did a great job.
I love this! I’d love to see how you cover Staryu and Starmie and how you’d animate them and make them look realistic.
I'll add em to the list
Freaking fantastic!
Their method of communication here makes me think of those videos of people making music with tesla coils firing at various frequencies.
And just like that I'm ready to subscribe
Welcome to the club
This is really well done!
Thank you!
This is amazing! 34 now and have been a fan since 1999. You recaptured my love for Pokemon. Thank you!
Excellent design to translate it to a live-action look! Love it!
Glad you like it!
I love this!! Wow! How beautifully well done 😃
this pokemon has the single weirdest design.
keep in mind that I said "weird" not "ugly".
normally pokemon, including the ugly ones, tend to be based on animals, bugs, monsters and innanimate objects.
this one is just a ball with an eye 2 magnets and some screws, what the hell were they smoking when making it.
I also want to know what is alakazam suppossed to look like.
is it suppossed to be an alien?
These are always amazing.
Thanks!
I always look forward to these. I imagine these are what we would see if a Pokedex and pokemon were a real thing
would be cool if the pokedex showed footage of the pokemon instead of just an image
this IS way better than I expected.
Thanks!
The textures and reflectiveness of Magnemite here also sells that its "arms" are two magnets s tuck to a sphere, and not entirely attached. That was a detail of the design I never thought about until now but it looks amazing. Pokémon are so cool.
What an incredibly random masterpiece to find on RUclips. I’m subscribing
Please tell me that there’s more of these
I'm imagining that the evolved version essentially synchronizes their nervous systems with a greater version of that same finesse that they use for communication.
You know you animated a pokemon right when all I want to do is pet it
Magnemite was my favorite Gen 1 pokemon. I had soooo many cards of it
Now this perfectly illustrates how it levitates, but still gets hit by ground type moves
Amazing. I have to ask, how did you make this and what was your workflow like?
Thank you! And I actually just finished recording a whole video where I explain my process! It’ll take a bit to edit but it will be out within a week or so!
@@EliousEntertainment Looking forward to it!
Magnemite: I interfere with pace makers nehehehehehehehheheheh
I've been watching a few real documentaries in the past few days and bam! I'm suggested this! It's super effective.
i love the glass covering the eye!
Perfection if David Attenborough narrated these Poke Docu series!
Imagine finding a 3000 year old dead magnemite
instead of fossilizing they oxidize
I think a natgeo perspective with narration would make this type of content more enjoyable. For example, manually adjusting the focus from afar. The creatures has more animated movements.
OMG
This looks pretty real
Thank you
It's these videos that make me glad my childhood dream never came true having pokemon be real lol
Looks better than modern big budget movies
now I wouldnt say that 😅
anyone found that the bottom left (our left not their) Magnemite on that Magneton do not have inverse magnet bothering?
I just love how Magnemite evolved Philips (or probably JIS) head screws naturally on their body before their invention.
I just love this lil' guy
Please, please do lanturn I've been begging for so long
My new interpretation based on the note about communication through electric bursts as opposed to radio waves is that the move discharge is the equivalent of shouting angrily in a Scottish or German accent to a typical American.
this is just a masterpiece
Thank you!
One of my favorites!
This was great. I wanna see a magnezone in this style. He’s my favorite.
'Enigmite' would now be a good nickname for a Magnemite... And 'Enigmaton' for Magneton! 🤗
Just awesome ✨
Thank you!
Magneton!
Bro is an expert at professional yapping😂
damn seeing one of my favorite mon made me so giddy. thanks for showing me Magneton
Now that was perfect.

Magnemite: yo whats up
Magneton: whats up to you too
Magnemite: how has you day been?
Magneton: a magne-TON of fun
Magnemite: thats a good one
Would be amazing if magnezone suddenly appears rushing at the camera
magnemite stopped my grandmas pace maker
A little cutie. But this would be a scary Pokémon to try and handle.
Oooh, this is just lovely.
Fun fact, in paldea there is a magnezone at the top of the crater. It shares it with a garchomp.
this is so insanely cool
