We agree with you 💯%. We live on a 42 acre farm way out in the country and these past 3 years was an eye opener, even though we said for a long time that it was coming. Canada really went insane, it wasn't that bad where we live but you never know what is going to happen next.
My family is actually working towards buying land and going off grid in the next few years. My husband needs to finish school first lol. My only concern is our kids and how being more "isolated" will affect them or how much they might actually benefit from it all.
Hi!! I totally get the worry! I'm not sure if you homeschool (we homeschool) but even in our area, there is a way to join fun group activities, extracurricular activities and there is actually a family on our street that homeschools too! Which was a great surprise. If your kids go to school... usually there is a town with a school nearby.. There's family down the road that the bus comes and picks up their kids. So it's just a matter of doing some research. We definitely love the privacy but our intent is not be isolated from people and definitely not to isolate our kids. But I do get that people think off grid they assume isolated from the world. But definitely not the case, at least with us and how we see things :) I hope this helps! My wife and I have 2 little boys (which she also homeschools) and have been planning to live off grid, net zero for a few years now and coming near the day to make that move by God's will and grace. Hearing you speak about prophecy, are you both also Adventist as we? BTW, another great outro...lol have Thi do all the outro 😂. You guys seem like a really nice couple and family. Amen, yes God will always make a way and now we're exercising our faith muscles. We have a similar story to yours and where we came from. Currently we live around Barrie, ON 🇨🇦 and are looking to find a property with land North or West from us or go to New Brunswick. Keep our family in your prayers and we'll do the same. @10bgann, out of curiosity, do you have an explanation for reality and where you came from? Because Darwinian evolution is just a theory, it’s not real science. Creatures adapt to their environment, that’s all Darwin witnessed. His error was saying all life comes from a single cell and common ancestors which is not real science….no physical evidence of this whatsoever. No transitional fossils proving this, no nothing. So where do you come from? How do you know what to do and how to live if you don’t know where you came from? The Bible explains this clearly. The truth is out there if you’re willing to look honestly.

no they didn't. they purchased property. it is illegal to build any structure on crown land in Canada.
