About 19:50 min: if you promote characters from your rulling family, they'll have more gravitas per turn. More gravitas= more influence.
Also marrying your generals is good too, because the wives will earn gravitas as well.
Keep up the good work, bro!

Hi I appreciate your great content and that u actually fight the battles and dont auto resolve and call it legendary difficulty. However I would like u to make a Legendary Marcomani campaign as This is total war. With greek units its fairly easy to defend cities in choke points. The selucid campaign u start with good cities and also a great army rooster.
With Sparta u start with easy access to Athens wich is maybe the best city in the campaign to give u a boost. With Marcomani u only have a minor settlement and only light troops , which makes defending so much harder. I only managed to get a foothold in Britania and abandon my settlement. Wonder what your approach would be. Keep the content going , I really enjoy your series. The other faction I would like to see is Lisutania

Glad you enjoy it! Marcomani This Is Total War sounds like the ultimate challenge in Rome 2! Lusitani are definitely on my list, they are also very challenging as their units have close to no armour so would always take significant losses in battles. I agree Hellenic armies are good defensively, sometimes all you need is one unit of pikes in the right place to defend a settlement against a full stack. And then you even get elephant generals

@@TotalWarfare Thanks for your response I agree with you. With Marcomani u cant really expand west because of Gaul, also south is not a question. Problem is u would batle Legionairs and Barbarien wich come with short sword stacks and u dont have an anwser unless u get round shield swordsman. On top they all a different culture so u cant occupy them and u get rebellions after rebellions.
But u can get fairly early in the first 10 turns ballistas out but then u run out of food and u dont have replenishment. Marcomani do have great slingers , their archer pack a punch and their Light horses are amazing. Looking forward to see u playing it.
I only managed after many tries to get 2 stacks of armies to great briton after holding of many assaults at their first settlement to buy some time. Now only at turn 37 i stabelized. And yes I do play only legendary for the past 20 years in Total War games
