  • The Spirocombi Air and Dirt Separator brings together an air eliminator and dirt separator in one simple unit.
By the means of an advanced separation process the Spirocombi uses a course, thin stainless steel magnetic brush at its core. As the water pressure flows through the unit, the powerful magnets inside will weave out any of the unwanted air pockets or dirt, that can result in leaks if left untreated.
If you are installing this unit on an existing boiler, mount it on the return.
It’s important to check the requirements of the boiler manufacturer before choosing where to install the unit.
Your Spirocombi should be annually checked in services alongside anything else durring annual maintenance visits.

Why mount on the flow on new system but return on existing? Surely its best to fit on return either way??

      Hey there! In a new
system, the best position is at the hottest point of the system, which is why the flow side is generally better. When adding to an existing system there is the potential for dirt and corrosion already present, so it is better to be positioned in the return. However, the location of the unit can ultimately be determined by the circumstances of a specific system.

Why is it necessary to install it on the return if it is going in an existing unit?
