My daughter (12) was sooo soo excited to meet you. She rode on a team with 3 other girls ger age and they took 6th in the woman quad. Thanks for being a role model she can look up too!
I have a weird desire to pull the cassette off of my bike and replace it with 12 of the same gear. Therefore creating a single speed that could still be "shifted".
Great to see you guys... from a social butterflies eyes 😊. Did 2 shifts in the timing tent and a couple hours watching on course. Told everyone, "I know them on YT, That bikes going to be for sale soon, Macky's the current US SS Champ, Lo's the crazy one 🙃, Joe's the calm one, Syd's the strength that binds them 😁". So cool to get to watch you guys/gals in race mode. CONGRATS
Hi Both, been watching your videos for a good while now and @ 52 and over weight you guys have persuaded me to start riding agin, so last week I went out and bought myself a full suspension rig to go have fun! Cheers and keep up the good work.
I’ve been away for a few years now but did that race every year for a while. Thanks for showing the trail. I know every inch of it and it was fun seeing it again.
Oh man I didn't know Ya'll were out there! Would have loved to finally meet you both since I also missed ya at the Whiskey previously. 😅 very cool you went for it with the SS!
I think I was a volunteer in the tent when Joe was asking to speak to someone about his missing bike. Hope he found it. Someone told me it was found later but don’t know if that’s for sure! Heard a girl lost her Salsa. Sad to hear of any bikes getting stolen as it’s such a fun event!
Looking good yall ! Our local bike shop in oxford mi (oxford bike shoppe) is doing a bike race at Addison oaks June 30th you guys should come ride it !! If you’re interested I can get you the sign up link . It will be a fun ride on a very flowy smooth course !!
Ah, the amazing Sonoran Desert! Tucson is really close to my home town, and I am pretty familiar with the 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo. When I first heard about it, I was helping to coach the Buena High School Mountain Bike Team (a NICA team). They were the state champions that year, and the top riders from the HS team formed a four-man team for this race. These crazy kids won that race that year! I just really love seeing my old stomping grounds in your vids! I love the Arizona desert. Which is funny because I grew up there and when I was a kid I didn't appreciate it so much. Now, living in Florida for the past five years, I could do with seeing some desert brush and a tall mountain here and there. Thanks for sharing your adventures in Arizona!
At 1st I was wondering why Syd packed a comb, but when I saw the Cholla attached to her boot I new. It reminded me off my wife brushing her hiking boot against a cholla.
I rode 24 in the Old Pueblo in high school, on a 4 man team with three other high schoolers and I cannot tell you how many good memories came out of there (Tinker Juarez anyone?). I had no idea 17 years later how iconic that race would become.
We need to get you guys up to Ontario which hosts the 24 hrs of Summer Solctis . ( 2400 racers ) plus 3 different 8 hr events. You could even join our team, or is yours!
Damn, for as long as I've been racing bikes (A really really long time) we've always just left the bike just laying around unguarded. Very sad if that's not possible anymore :/
Been attending/racing 24 HOP for 10 years and this is the first year I've heard bikes being stolen. A friend had her Large Tallboy stolen this year too
Too bad your video came out well after the race weekend was over. Would have been nice to come out to see you and possibly meet up for a hello! I live in Catalina (only a few miles away) but I didn’t attend this year. Lots of other riding around here too, could have shared with you.
Definitely a good option, but quite a bit more expensive for something we don't do very often. And a certain amount of the hard work is removing the derailleur, shifter and cable which you have to do regardless.

It was great to meet her as well and to see so many young girls racing!! ❤️
Watching you work out that race schedule on the whiteboard just thinking 'someone please make a spreadsheet...' Joe is now my hero!
I love those Outbound lights!! I got mine a few years ago at Sedona Mtn Bike fest. Love them. Support is really good, too.
Great to see the team back together. Always enjoy the banter you have with Lo and Joe. Looking forward to next weeks video already. Atb Dave

I know what I'll be doing next Friday evening. This is gonna be an awesome race. I can't wait to watch. 👍👊
54 gear inches was my go-to at 24ITOP. It's all about the top half of the climb on your 3 AM lap.

My god, the editing and story telling has gotten way better since I saw your last videos a year ago !
Yep, all set. I know how the book ends, but I'll read every chapter anyway. Looking forward to the movie!😊

yall are jumping the shark here...lol. i was hoping you'd surprise us with a Cape Epic entry.

Take a look at the strathpuffer 24 hour race... scotland, january, 17 hours of darkness, lots of cheering
The cactus avoiding skills come with time.
Your 24hr races with Lo & Joe are always fun to watch!

Experience the carnivorous cholla one time and it will never be forgotten!!

Before I even watched this as soon as I heard single speed I thought this was crazy. I'm interested to see how soon you bonk.
Nice editing!
Love when you do the 24hr rides with Jo and Lo 😊
"Unlocked a Snickers bar," had me rolls..🤣🤣🤙
Love the travel animation music 🎶😃
We ALWAYS need more videos with Lo.

Lo is so good. Just love seeing her in your videos
So excited!!!

I remember seeing Tinker back in the day at the 24hrs of Moab!! I wish they’d bring that race back!
Awesome! That Lo is a bad ass
Cliffhanger!! Damn it! 😆
Can’t wait for the cookbook!
Eating Wins Races cookbook is now available! eatingwinsraces.com/product/eating-wins-races-cookbook/
@@sydandmacky I saw, thanks for the mention in the vid!
Sir what about your shuoder injury do you recover to 100 %
how long did it take to make the little icon of the car with a rack of 2 bikes for the animation @ 9:50?
I made it about a year ago. Took a while...
Best carbs in a 24hr race are the beers after each arvo / night lap. 🍻

I guess we haven’t announced the new “Canyon” 😂 sponsor yet. Lol just guessing. As always, great video. Best wishes for this season.
Love it when you 4 get together 😂

Really sorry to hear this 😔 I won't share the details (can't spoil the ending lol) but we did recover Joe's bike
❤😊
Lo is the best
cactus and rocks at night? no bueno!

I would round to the closest 15 minutes. So 8:15.
Are you really doing a team marathon race if you don’t have a spreadsheet to figure out what order to ride in?
What was the name of the team?
BIG COG ENERGY
2nd place! Congrats! @@LoSendquest
The casual drop of a new bike sponsor?
Why not just get a couple of rims that are already set up and ready to go so you don't have to do all that MOD just grab and switch?
Definitely a good option, but quite a bit more expensive for something we don't do very often. And a certain amount of the hard work is removing the derailleur, shifter and cable which you have to do regardless.
The most important take away y’all should get from this video is that we have the same rolling pin.
😁
Cooking channel for bikers?
there is no way I could do a single speed....its against my (bike) religion...lol..and Im too fat and old.
