Lol. Now thats entertainment!! Congratulations on the podium. Joe braking for fireball is priceless! 😂 Lo's commentary keeps me rolling. 😂 I sure am glad y'all found Joe's bike, that would have been a bag of suck bigtime. Anyway, great job to all four of you. Keep rollin. Btw. The outfits were simply fabulous!! 😂
I will never get tired of Lo's commentary 😂😂😂 I also love that in the wee early hours both Syd and Lo still appreciated how beautiful it was despite being tired
I think this one has the best vibe of any bike race I've ever seen, from both the racers and the hecklers. It also got y'all's weird side to come out, which we need to see more of
"I went so hard, my gears fell off!" - Lo "I wanted to be faster. But, I wasn't." - Syd Any soft goods you want to print those on, I will be ordering. I especially identify with the latter quote. Thank you for another wonderful video!
I just appreciate the openness about the race, like "was hoping for a poop but no such luck" - Syd, "I did this to us" - Lo. :) Joe and Lo were great. Fun video .Thanks for sharing.
Great video as always I can say, @35:51, those first clues of "sunrise incoming" are great ❤, uplift 100%. Lo's commentary is hilarious and mostly on point 🙂
Hey guys just sending a quick thank you for your inspiring channel. At 43 years old I completed my first mountain bike race today. I was inspired by watching you guys and the work that you put into each race. 1 year in the making riding at night in the snow on the local trails to get me into shape. The goal was to finish the expert level ride and I did that, I wasn't even the last rider in, so that is a victory. Keep up the good work.
Wouldn’t be a single speed video without featuring an east coast SS legend, QUADSworth. Hope you guys come to the east coast for one of the great east coast rocks races sometime!
I don't usually watch bike racing (more of a road-randonneur), but this looks extremely fun! LO was wholly entertaining throughout - ofc so was the rest of the crew, but she was my highlight! VERY COOL!
Super love the background comment at about 13 min. Something like....'Yeah....lady singlespeed...right-on'..... so true. 😊 Great content as usual!!!! Thanks for bringing us along!!!!
This video was really fun to watch. The onboard and post lap commentary with the mix of personalities on the team really added to the video. Great job!
Congrats! That was really fun to watch. I love the outfits and the comments. It's amazing that you all were able to keep that pace for 24 hours! Thanks for sharing!
Have never ridden a single speed, or a 24 hour race. How is it that your suffering makes me desperately want in on it all? You’re all awesome story tellers with a curious range of perspectives- and as always the edit is awesome - love the random insertion of Joe blowing snot out his nose during Lo’s lap recap 😂
Been watching your videos for a while. This was my 3rd time doing 24HOP this year and my wife's first ever mountain bike race. Just two weeks before the race we found out she was pregnant, but she still put down one strong lap with baby on board for our 5 person coed team! Great year for this race, glad you guys got to experience it!
Great recap, your sparkly pants passed me on the night lap and definitely lifted my cadence as I saw I was getting passed by a SS and sparkly pants. Hope you guys come back to burning man for mountain bikers at 24 Hour Town.
So fun to watch NewMex MTB races! Macky did you go bananas? Syd nervous?? You totally rock! I get sick right before a race. Dorito laced sandwiches rock too. Cheers from Ruidoso
Good grief! I rode that thing back in the 90's! Live in Tucson now. Was at this years 24 Hours of Old Pueblo for a wee bit. Didn't ride but worked the beer tent at the rock waterall.
So nice to see my home turf on your channel! Also, I just set myself a goal to try and participate in 24OTP 2025! I just signed up to get notified when registration opens. I got some training to do! By the way, I love Lo's commentary when she rides.
Totally fun video. Curious on a couple of things- 1) nutrition- with eating nothing but carbs won't your body eventually want to use some muscle or it will rely purely on those carbs for energy? 2) are you allowed to change your gearing mid-race. For example, if, after the first lap, you didn't like your set-up, can you change your rear gear?? 3) No aero effect when riding behind someone when being towed? Shouldn't there be? 4) and finally... how did the OUTBOUND lights hold up? I love the things, but curious on your thoughts. Thanks, guys!
Hey! Thanks for the great questions. 1. As long as you keep replenishing your glycogen stores (by eating carbs), your body will keep burning glycogen. Our bodies really like burning glycogen compared to trying to convert amino acids to glucose (basically catabolizing muscle), which is a harder process. Typically when someone says they are bonking, this is what is happening -- glycogen stores are gone and body is trying to find energy anyway it can. Once the race is over , however, it becomes really important to get enough protein for muscle repair. 2. Yes you can change your gear if you want to! 3. There is definitely an aero effect, that's why it's so helpful! It's not quite as dramatic as on the road, but it still helps. 4. We love the outbound lights! Macky's only ran out of charge because we didn't realize our battery block had died. Generally speaking there was plenty of time to charge them between laps.
Is “Highway to He||” the only song ever played at the start of mountain bike races? I swear I hear it in virtually all videos of mountain bike race starts! I don’t know if that was HtH, but I’m pretty sure it was the same album.
I'd so LOVE to be go with you all your next 24 hour race, to cook, help out, sit and ,look pretty (What I do BEST), retired racer, did some 24 hour team runs in the past. Just love to help anyway i can pretty good mechanic.
Please make some "I wanted to be faster but I was not" merch :D Amazing video as always!

I will never get tired of Lo's commentary 😂😂😂 I also love that in the wee early hours both Syd and Lo still appreciated how beautiful it was despite being tired
The absolute best lap of desert 24 hour rides is the sunrise lap. So energizing despite the pain ☺
I think this one has the best vibe of any bike race I've ever seen, from both the racers and the hecklers. It also got y'all's weird side to come out, which we need to see more of
"I went so hard, my gears fell off!" - Lo
"I wanted to be faster. But, I wasn't." - Syd
Any soft goods you want to print those on, I will be ordering. I especially identify with the latter quote. Thank you for another wonderful video!
Lo always has great commentary, but "I went so hard my gears fell off!" is her best!! I laughed so hard at that!
I just appreciate the openness about the race, like "was hoping for a poop but no such luck" - Syd, "I did this to us" - Lo. :) Joe and Lo were great. Fun video .Thanks for sharing.
"I wanted to be faster, but I was not"
This also summarizes my bike racing! Great job everyone!
Your team relates so well to each other. Infectious fun. And way to go gals, climb that podium!
Great video as always I can say, @35:51, those first clues of "sunrise incoming" are great ❤, uplift 100%.
Lo's commentary is hilarious and mostly on point 🙂

Great episode, loved the energetic event and how the Team handled adversities.

24 hour craziness thank you for sharing it with us. Loved Lo's look when she said "I did this to us...". Priceless.
That was great. Looking forward to more racing this year.

Congratulations! What an achievement! 🎉
Love these 24 hour race vids!
Lo's 4th lap commentary was entertaining! Good work y'all!
Wouldn’t be a single speed video without featuring an east coast SS legend, QUADSworth. Hope you guys come to the east coast for one of the great east coast rocks races sometime!
Ahh, I’m so glad you got Joe’s bike back! That would make me so messed up mentally!
I don't usually watch bike racing (more of a road-randonneur), but this looks extremely fun! LO was wholly entertaining throughout - ofc so was the rest of the crew, but she was my highlight! VERY COOL!
YES! Love this video! Joe & Lo are so much fun. And it's all great inspiration to get out there, ride more amd be more awesome! Thanks guys!
So pleased to see you guys running Outbound Lighting. Love their stuff.
Lo's commentary is priceless. Great video but that's clearly the highlight. "don't touch me..."
Any video with Lo will get an instant like and comment.
Lo is addictive ❤
Super love the background comment at about 13 min. Something like....'Yeah....lady singlespeed...right-on'..... so true. 😊 Great content as usual!!!! Thanks for bringing us along!!!!

Such a great time. Good editing too. Super entertaining.
Great recap, your sparkly pants passed me on the night lap and definitely lifted my cadence as I saw I was getting passed by a SS and sparkly pants. Hope you guys come back to burning man for mountain bikers at 24 Hour Town.
Sid every time the camera shows you you're in the kitchen eating all the food that is so funny
Excellent. I'll watch way more when you have kids. Get to work.
So fun to watch NewMex MTB races! Macky did you go bananas?
Syd nervous?? You totally rock! I get sick right before a race.
Dorito laced sandwiches rock too.
Cheers from Ruidoso
By NewMex MTB I meant racers.
That was great fun to watch!! Thanks for putting this together - wonderful editing and congratulations on another podium!
Great editing! Much more than just morning coffee entertainment!!
Lo & Jo are also team members when you all do races together ❤️❤️❤️❤️🚵🏻
Don’t forget to register for our local bike race in oxford mi !! The Addison oaks classic !!! Love you two
Good grief! I rode that thing back in the 90's! Live in Tucson now. Was at this years 24 Hours of Old Pueblo for a wee bit. Didn't ride but worked the beer tent at the rock waterall.
Sometimes I think marathon bike racing is really an eating competition.
Eating wins races!
Slomo footage of Macky running in the banana kit was pure cinema
Lmao lo’s commentary is great😂
Lo, your commentary is the greatest!!!
Absolutely loved this one l!! Great vibes !!
Mackey going bananas right from the start ! 🤪
Syd & Macky you and JoeLo should come race 24hrs in the canyon! It’s the first weekend of June.
So nice to see my home turf on your channel! Also, I just set myself a goal to try and participate in 24OTP 2025! I just signed up to get notified when registration opens. I got some training to do!
By the way, I love Lo's commentary when she rides.
Absolutely brilliant! Epic riding! Next event's team name: "Unicorns In Tutus'"!" You guys are absolute legends! Keep doing what you do 😁👍‼️
Sid you are cracking me up so funny!!
Great race guys! Looked like so much fun! And exhausting 😅
Such a cool video, i just raced a 8 h race with another two girls, its was both fun and painful 🤣🤣
You guys kicked ass way to go so proud of you
well done! Thanks for sharing, and top marks to sparkle pants and quadzilla. Is fireball your next tier 1 sponsor?
21 laps is Freakin' Awesome!
That was really fun to watch!!
Lo is hilarious, as always. She loves pushing herself. I’d bet she skydive.
Hard no on skydiving. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m am quite terrified of the thought of jumping out of an airplane. It might be my one “no way”
I'm a big guy, Macky your part of my inspiration to continue to ride my SS , 32x22 gearing & l have a love hate relationship with climbing
@2:40 Thanks for talking tech spec with gearing but crank length and tire diameter really play a large role in ride ability.
You are so adventurous. And, it's fun riding in NM.
You guys are so funny love you guys
Laps by Lo. definitely the best ever.
Love it you four get together, too much fun😂

Lo is soo funny! ❤
Bike sounds plus sunset 👌 👏
It looks like Macky has the same folding phone with bright yellow case that I do. But mine has chrome accents.
Awesome!! Lo cracks me up 🤙🏼
This makes me want to do a 24 hour race like this so bad!
Do it! So much fun. (Last word is pronounced pain ;) )
Honestly, does not look at all fun to me. But entertaining to watch the nutters on video for 24 minutes.
Party in desert is always good !
Is “Highway to He||” the only song ever played at the start of mountain bike races? I swear I hear it in virtually all videos of mountain bike race starts! I don’t know if that was HtH, but I’m pretty sure it was the same album.
You guys are on Pivots??? Did I see that right? If so, WELCOME!!!
”Itty bity cogs” 😂
This felt like the crown jewel comment. Thanks for appreciating 🤣🤣❤️
Well done!
I would never do this race because of the jumping cactus. That is some dangerous thornes.
Lo is SO FUNNY 😂🎉
What’s syd wearing on the podium? Love it and I need that for my next bike ride!
Here you go: amzn.to/3TV8v0c
There's also matching pants which Macky wore during the race: amzn.to/3VMxRjA
OMG Thank you!!
I need to work on a podium win now :D
Ok I gotta ask why doesn’t Joe & low have a RUclips channel ??
Syd: What does your play list in your earbuds look like?
You had more fun than Taylor and Lachlan, bet.
Are you going to do Frog Hollow again this year?
That's what life is all about!
so good 🙂
I'd so LOVE to be go with you all your next 24 hour race, to cook, help out, sit and ,look pretty (What I do BEST), retired racer, did some 24 hour team runs in the past. Just love to help anyway i can pretty good mechanic.
how is the singlespeed category controlled by the event? Do the triggers need to be removed or how does that work?
Honor system.
Super awesome
How many participants were there?? That was so many bikes!
Approximately 2000 people raced that weekend
Ramen Noodles!!!
I would like to know where I can get my very own Lo?
