- In this session we cover chapter 47 of Prophets and Kings. Prophets and Kings was first published in 1917 and covers biblical history from the time of Solomon through to the end of the Old Testament. This is "Part 2" of OT with DA because we've already done Part 1, Patriarchs and Prophets. If you haven't already followed along with that reading challenge, please do! I think you'll love it! I have thoughts about the branch being Aaron’s rod that budded that sits in the ark of the covenant ? (Because this vision is given in the context of the temple reconstruction. ) I don’t really understand the significance of Aaron’s rod but assume that is important if it’s contained in the ark. I’d be interested in your thoughts. This chapter and your discussion brought such joy and peace to my heart this morning, especially loved the rock climbing illustration and the marriage covenant examples. Blessings!
