      Being that the poster of the video won't respond to anyone...I'll tell you. He's likely using EZCad 2 or 3...or Lightburn. These are vector programs used for lasering. The artwork is created in these apps OR in Adobe Illustrator, then exported out as an SVG file to go into the lasering programs. Then each layer (or color)...get's different laser Speeds, Frequencies, and Power applied to get different results. Some layers "cut" the pattern of hexes, another cuts the border...then doing the brown is yet another layer in a different speed and frequency - it turns the polymer brown. Last, the artwork is lasered on from yet another layer. Lot of stuff and steps - hope that clarifies some of your questions...which the poster should have responded to out of courtesy.
