It is get off, not get out. As for being stalked, thats never a good thing, however, I guess it's a sign of how influential you truly are to us everyday folk. ;)
Please be aware that the original version is from old R&B singer Lee Dorsey. Its quite better. This Doors version is ok though. Get out of my life woman I have a crush for Jim ! Merci de rendre à César ce qui appartient à César...
I have this song on a 12 record I bought in 1981. The record was called Moonlight Drive. A stereo 33 with only a drawing of the Doors printed that came with a green cover. The rest is all white.
Get out of my life, woman You don't love me no more Get out of my life, woman You don't love me no more Get out of my life, woman You don't love me no more Get out of my eyes teardrops I gotta see my way around Get out of my eyes teardrops I gotta see my way around Get out of my life heartache I got heartaches by the pound (These days) Walk on, walk on Walk on, walk on Yeah, walk on Get off my ladder, woman I gotta climb up to the top Get off my ladder, woman I gotta climb up to the top Get off my ladder, woman You know that I can't stop I can't stop I can't stop I can't stop I can't stop Get out of my life, woman I gotta be moving on Get out of my life, woman I gotta be moving on Get out of my life, woman It's so long Bye, bye, bye, bye So long Bye, bye, bye, bye So long Little darlin' goodbye So long, so long Twenty long years Little darlin' That I spent with you Twenty long years That we shared a home Twenty long years Little darlin' Now I'm black and blue Twenty long years Now I'm back on my own Bye, bye So long Bye, bye So long
I really want to like this cause I love The Doors and Lee Dorsey. But straight up? If I heard this with no context I'd be like: why is this weird jazzy bar band butchering a masterpiece? But kudos to whomever put the video together. Well done.
Paul Butterfield were recording in the same building as the doors at the same time both being on the same label and under Paul Rothchild's guidance as well. If I'm not mistaken. Sure the doors covered "get off my life woman" and did a sterling job . It must have been kinda like when the beatles and pink Floyd were at Abbey road at the same time recording. 1 second ago
I have heard this song by a hundred different artists. The song title is "Get out" Leave it to the Doors to be the only ones to alter the title. Not what I'd say is a good cover. Not even close.
Been a doors fan since I was 13. Some 50 years ago. Never heard this song until now. Love it. Also the clip and editing is great. Thank you from a fan.

Get out of my life, woman
You don't love me no more
Get out of my life, woman
You don't love me no more
Get out of my eyes teardrops
I gotta see my way around
Get out of my eyes teardrops
I gotta see my way around
Get out of my life heartache
I got heartaches by the pound
(These days)
Walk on, walk on
Walk on, walk on
Yeah, walk on
Get off my ladder, woman
I gotta climb up to the top
Get off my ladder, woman
I gotta climb up to the top
Get off my ladder, woman
You know that I can't stop
I can't stop
I can't stop
I can't stop
I can't stop
Get out of my life, woman
I gotta be moving on
Get out of my life, woman
I gotta be moving on
Get out of my life, woman
It's so long
Bye, bye, bye, bye
So long
Bye, bye, bye, bye
So long
Little darlin' goodbye
So long, so long
Twenty long years
Little darlin'
That I spent with you
Twenty long years
That we shared a home
Twenty long years
Little darlin'
Now
I'm black and blue
Twenty long years
Now
I'm back on my own
Bye, bye
So long
Bye, bye
So long
The Doors version on this sounds fantastic compared to the original IMO. Ride On!

is it? interesting... thank you for your thoughts ;) :D
Nice track! Never seen by this Doors fan. Rare of Pam... Thx!
Talented and hot.
Putting the wrong mouth & body motions in places that aren't original never worked for me. Always looks super amateur & fake. Good tune though.
Its Get Out not Get Off
