During live performances Thomas shares the following story of how he came up with the song:
At the beginning of the Covid pandemic he returned to his parents' house in Norway. He went back to his old room - everything felt so small yet familiar - and felt the same drive and excitement about the music and life he used to feel as a kid. He wanted to put his pure, childish even, joy into music and share the thrill just as he remembered it. He moved his studio into that very room and started composing. What he wrote "turned out to be" this wonderful piece based on an Irish reel.

Was in Düsseldorf as well. This song blew my mind and the way they jumped and danced with so much love for music in their hearts... indescribable, the corners of my mouth were at 12 o'clock after. They got me good. 😂
Probably one of the best songs from Thomas and Two Steps. Watching the smiles and the fun everyone was having as they were playing this at Wacken was amazing.
It's been such fun to watch Thomas and the girls perform this live on their current tour! They bring the house down. I have loved this song since it was released on Myth, and this slightly different version is also wonderful. I play it all the time! And I used to play the Kesh Jig on my pennywhistle and mandolin - I'll have to pull those instruments out and play it again.

For anyone wondering: The only differences between this and the "regular" version (2QDT_fOAZ_4) is the added section at 3:19 and maybe the last note is a little bit quieter, not sure.

Amazing , when music started i hoped to have this part 2:10 and it delivered in most epic way possible!
I always preferred the Humanity version over the Myth version for one very good reason.
At 3:19 there is a fantastic break and build up the the final drop of the song which just makes me scream with joy, myth unfortunately lacks that but I’m glad I have two versions of the same piece. I’ve been a fan for months now, but Bergersen has shot up to my favourite composer of the modern era!!
