Moving is tough in general. But moving in the military is a whole different story. Here’s my experience in a nutshell and hopefully it can help you. Enjoy.
This was really helpful .. thanks brother . Moving in a few weeks and I’m doing it all myself. You’re absolutely right with the stress with a military move .
thank you for telling your story. I was really scared you were about to say that the company was total fraud and literally stole all your household goods and you never saw it again, so I'm really glad that you did receive the majority of it and thank you for publishing this story to help other people avoid this too. Best wishes in your new civilian life
No offense but it seems like you didn’t consult anyone who previously did a DITY move before trying it yourself. It’s understandably stressful, but a lot of this is due to bad research and not asking TMO and finance the right questions.
I appreciate this video, thank you, we’re about to ets and I’ve been debating between getting help from the Army to move or just going with a uhaul and because of this I may just decide with a uhaul now because like you said I have possession of all my belongings traveling with me. I generally was worried about costs of move too but the movers and large ticket items I have worry me more honestly.
I'm glad to hear I could help you possibly make a decision. The moving is probably the hardest part of the whole process. If you have any questions let me know and I'll cover it in a future video! Thank you!
We went through Great American and then they contracted the move through a company called Affordable and Assertive Moving Company which is the company that screwed us over and stole our belongings.

Why did you not rent a U Haul and move it yourself? you make way more money that way.
Some of the things you're saying is not true

Thank you for this video! I’m moving using PODs here in four days. What paperwork would I need to get the reimbursement?
How do you do a DITY move?
