O.M.G., To sit and watch this amazing flight was heart grabbing, but for the group to suddenly drop to free fall leaving one to man that cloud popper all to his self, I couldn't help myself I yelled out just to catch my breath! This video did it for me. Where do I sign-up. This sport just became my number one priority, over all things this life will tempt me with. Anyone got an old para-sail , from when they were a newbie to the sport , that could help me to learn the basics? I'm not kidding. Please help if you are able, it would be big help jump starting a new way of life for old guy, thats going to be 22 years old for at least another 30 years +/-. Great jump , stay safe.

I 'm not worried about collapse , because i think is really hard to collapse a cell THAT BIG filled with air. Big aircraft are far more stable.. But I worry about low speed and steering ...if some wind ;)

Flymats, you are not so fair, and you don't know too much about the pictures you show ! You don't know who, neither when, nor where... Even your titles are wrong ! Because, obviously, you don't know the spot ! In fact , the giant paraglider isn't starting from the Mont Blanc but from the Dôme du Goûter (4323 mètres), a round summit under the Mont Blanc. For your understanding, I am the organizer of this event, and also the guy with the "gopro's grandfather" on his head at 1.35 . OK ?
If I was the organiser of this event I would gladly pass this footage for free so as to inspire other people to make something similar. Nevertheless if you feel like your copyright rights were infringed try the legal route (which in my opinion is not always the ethical way). Your call.

@kinggtupper No it isn't. These guys are definitely pro's (else they wouldn't get hold of a glider that big) and all the mechanics involved in flying work exactly the same as with a normal flight. As you can see as well, the guy in the top does all the steering by himself too (so no misommunications in the air) the others are just hanging underneath. Only danger here is that one bruises his ankle while taking off/landing ;)
I do not get how the glide kept in controleed flight with 1/10 area load.
