thank you Tatyana for sharing your experience and knowledge so freely. I have just picked up the classical guitar again after many years and really need this kind of training many thanks
Thank you so much, Tatyana, for taking the time to instruct us. I will be getting my classical guitar soon, and I will be glad to take more instructions from you. Looking forward to basic instructions for beginner. God bless you!
Very nicely explained - appreciate the advice regarding position of the left thumb, curving the fingers, moving the wrist, low tension, and practicing blind! Your lesson format is great. Thanks!
Hi T, Being left handed but playing right handed makes my left hand stronger than right. Thank you for these precious moments and lessons. Merry Christmas to all.
This is an excellent exercise. I was surprised at first that my fingers did not wanna do it, and I realize I’ve trained my muscles to play a note and pop up. They feel stronger after just a short time of trying this, very useful!
Working on it further, especially when going up in pitch, it’s really hard to actually only move one finger at a time , need to go VERY slowly to do it truly properly!!
Hi Tatyana I have been doing Scott Tenant’s spider for a while now so along with yours both make a very good warm up. All the best for the coming year stay safe Harry
I do this exercise as part of my warm-up every day, but I do it as hammer-on and pull-off going from the 1st fret to the 12th and then back. It took me a long time to make it smooth, but I did get there. :-)
Tatyana Thanks for your teaching. I enjoy them very much including the black board which is great for a screen shot. I tried your method and found it useful. My ring finger is weak and I found that my placement and accuracy of that finger is better with your method. However, my ring finger accuracy goes down on the base strings. Ant tips for improving that finger alone. Thanks and Merry Christmas.
Hey Taty... Been awhile...Reckon all's well with you... You're just so great! Simple as that... 🎩🔥 Once again, thanks indeed for another great content! 👍🙏 Have yourself a Merry Christmas! 🎇🎇 God bless us, everyone! ☺🤝🙏❤
My name is Francisco i am from Brazil. I loved your class and your calm in teaching. I do the exercise even with some speed but without keeping the strings. This will be a problem for me to evolve in the guitar. How to get around this deficiency, can you give a tip. Thanks for the feedback.
Hi Tatyana, thank you for everything you do to help the classical guitar community. You are a treasure! Just wondering... Do you change your own guitar strings? A task I do not care for myself, but it must be done. Thank you...Steve
Hi Steve, thanks for your kind words! Yes, I change the strings by myself. I don't like it either, but I became quick through practice and now it takes only 15 minutes for the whole procedure 😁
Just dropped in for some finger exercises..no need to put the coffee on. Thank you for this video..Have a bit of arthritis and not so flexible these days.. Trying these exercises! Am a poor player anyway..La la la la la...... but love guitar music. :)
I tried this. Is there a tool to disentangle my fingers again or do they have to be amputated? Jokes aside - this is a really useful pattern. Thank you very much!
Hi Tatyana, Please comment on the right hand technique for this exercise. I noticed you used your thumb first, but then just used your fingers and free strokes, I believe. Any advice on when to use thumb vs. fingers on lower strings? Thanks, Bill
But, finger independence is a double edged sword! Why we should exercize it? If our fingers become too independent then we will not be able to control them at all...
The spider exercise is fantastic. I've been doing it for a while. Also, your voice kind of gives me ASMR. Super relaxing!
I appreciate your videos, even when you give us difficult homework 🙂
It seems simple but it is complicated. Thank you for all your teachings. I wish you health and joy for 2024. Warm greetings from Mallorca.
This is timely and very helpful, T. I have picked up my classical guitar after a long while. Thank you!
Excelent lesson, Tatyana! Thanks for teaching and sharing. ❤👍🌹

Hi Tatyana, how do you keep your nails from braking?. How do you take care of your nails?. You play beautiful.
Obrigado!!!!
Merci
Thanks for your tips. This guitar looks beautiful. 😍 Is that your Ramirez Signature ? 😍 You rock Tatyana. 🤘
Yes, but it is Raimundo Signature Black Limba 😉. Thank you!
I tried this. Is there a tool to disentangle my fingers again or do they have to be amputated?

Cracked me up!! 😂
What's the name of the artist/music at the end of your video? Thank you.

Hi Bill, I don't use thumb for this exercise (just plant it on the strings). Either you could play it with im/mi or use ami. I play here im

Eres extraordinaria.
Te deseo lo mejor, desde España.
¡ Felices Fiestas !
Linda!
I do the exercise, I feel the backward part more difficult.
I am like you Tatyana
È possibile avere la traduzione in italiano?
Vincenzo ma parla talmente piano e coinciso che per poterla capire, basta avere proprio le basi di inglese
