@Him Next Door Are you assuming hate is always wrong? Is it alright to hate child abuse? How about ideas that involve killing innocent people in ideological opposition? There is a time to love and a time to hate. I don't think the quote requires an abandonment of legitimate vs illegitimate types of hate.
I’m a 43 year old white man and have been a liberal my entire life. The left has slowly been losing me since 2016. I recently got divorced (from a super woke left wing woman whom I lost a ton of respect for the last 7 years, for a myriad of reasons. Our two sons and the way she chooses to raise them being the main factor)… Then in May I broke my arm while working. So I had about 5 weeks where I was unable to work with quite a bit of time on my hands. Went down a few rabbit holes. The Daily Wire has turned me! This speech in particular and the q and a afterwards sealed the deal and proved to me y’all aren’t nuts. The opposite in fact. Just logical, loving Americans who don’t want to see our entire country turn into Portland, Oregon. (I grew up there and won’t even bring my boys near it these days) I sincerely thank you for your calm, rational discourse. I know I finally just fell into my typical demographic. But I will be proudly spreading the word. Cheers from Oregon. (Don’t worry- I’m well over an hour outside of Pee-town now😅)
Yeah, Portland isn't as bad as it's made out to be. There are plenty of decent neighborhoods without tent cities. I'm on the east side of the state now, and I prefer it, but travel back for live music often. The protests always have the same effect in my opinion. The more Fox or commenta like yours dissuades tourism, the better. These people got it all wrong. All they're talking about is negative or what they don't like about the democratic party. Grow up and go meet some new people with different perspectives and find relatable interests or shut up. We should be finding ways to solve problems. Funny how this guy transitions from welfare bad, to God and love good.
Glad that you can finally see, and welcome. This current mess we are in will only be rectified by changing people's minds, one at a time. God Bless You, be well, be safe, and never give up on your Son's.
Right? Best quote from this talk. The left's attitude is: "All your virtue in life will come from hatred, acted out in anger." It's a complete inversion. It's downright satanic.
@@----Jay---- That strikes me as well, brings to mind several points. The first is that movements like our American civil rights, tend to not know when to die after the fight is over. I've spent a lot of time learning about organizations that fought for homosexual marriage trying to keep going after our supreme court ruled once and for all in their favor. Their work was done and they eventually had to dissolve. Another point was the exaggeration of political talking points and the actual creation of social issues by politicians who need to create a threat in order to get elected. Our major problems pale in comparison to histories issues, yet each new political figure has something they rail on about for hours as though it is an existential threat. They have to stir up emotion to gain support because every one of their rivals does the same. We have revolutions going on that are meaningless because there are so few revolutions that actually require that level of action or emotional investment.
To the young man who asked how you persuade other young conservatives that it's not hopeless. Tell them about me, a 52 year-old former lifelong leftist who woke up and found value in conservative principles. Keep talking. Keep having these lectures. @someordinarydude9147 I have heard him tell his story many times, and you can't really say "he gave up millions" if it was taken from him involuntarily (black listed). What I meant was, I'm sure he is still a very wealthy man, he is a prolific writer, and Hollywood can't take away his ability to write books and the revenue he makes from those, and I'm sure the DW pays him quite well and speaking at events like these pay extremely well also.
@@aidananstey9848 how was it “taken from him”? He clearly explained that many people gave him the out to just go with the flow and keep his opinions quiet but he didn’t. Everyone knows the vices, or the Seven Deadly Sins but no one teaches the inverse, the Virtues; Chastity, Temperance, Diligence, Patience, Charity, Kindness, and Humility. Andrew is the first person I've ever heard speak of them.
Well, let's be fair...some churches do. And let me be even more fair and clear...I say that as an atheist who has more than his fair share of critiques for "the church".

@repentandbelieveinJesusChrist4 Do you know than Andrew Klavan is a Completed Jew? Imagine for a minute, growing up Jewish. As a friend said, "The Jews of Jesus's time were good monotheists", so Jesus saying He also is God must have been terribly confusing. Now, after millennia of Jews being enslaved, persecuted, it seems to me that leaving Judaism (not completely, as the Bible must be read as a whole. Old & New Testament), but the cultural things, a deeply ingrained identity as a Jew... I think Andrew is so wise, yet humble. I'm so happy that he knows & loves Jesus. You might want to start with Love. Obviously John 3:16 is a key verse. People need to know Who God is, Who Jesus is, before they're told to run and repent to, who? God? A priest? So many problems with ,"confrontational evangelism". But if you must do it? People need to know first that they are loved by God.
Agreed. I don't think this applies to leftism any more than it does to humanity regardless of political affiliation. Trump, for example, personifies the 7 deadly sins more than any leader I can think of.

14:04 We've lost sight of the original meaning of the term "snowflake". Snowflake does not mean "hyper-sensitive",- although many snowflakes are just that. No, the term "snowflake" refers to a person who is laboring under the delusion that they are, in some way, one-of-a-kind special (i.e. every snowflake is unique) and that the rest of the world should treat them as such. In truth, they are one-of-a-kind... but so is everyone else and therefore the snowflake isn't special at all. You don't treat one snowflake differently than the rest. You have to shovel all of them off your driveway the same way.

Dr. Klavan brilliantly explained that it wasn’t until he was 45 years old that he found God. I truly believe one has to think through and experience life, maybe hit rock bottom before realizing the many virtues life has to offer.

@@nicnaimhin2978 So u think he is just unaware? Or that he forgot?? About the wealth tax cuts u & I pay for?? See this guy spins a big tail about ‘socialists taking ur money & giving it to others’ yet we live in a capitalist society, not something that change into socialism due to one budget decision over another. Everything in our society is funded by taxation. Infrastructure, social security, law enforcement, fire suppression just to name a few. These decisions that r based in budgeting choices (where & how to spend the tax revenue collected) do not flip our chosen economic system from capitalism to socialism. As well, he never mentions the PPE loan forgiveness given to wealthy business owners…..even members of Congress on both sides, including Republicans. Nor does he mention the wealth tax (not all tax brackets, just the top) being reduced to a historical low by Trump. Do u imply he isnt aware that in basic economics, when one group saves another pays? That he isnt aware that cutting revenue is just as costly as any program funded?? See its the low hanging fruit that keeps this nonsense repeated. People easily relate spending with ‘buying’ a product or service & not spending as ‘saving’…..but in the economic reality on a macro scale, the organization of resources within a community, cutting revenue is not ‘saving’ money nor is allocating a certain return to tax payers through services rendered a form of socialism. The entire lie is based on an over simplified ‘balance a checkbook’ or ‘family budget at home’ myth that convinces voters we can run the U.S. economy & country like a grocery budget. In this fairytale, the GOP will reduce government spending & u will pay less tax. But even if we ignore the fact that the U.S. cant b ran like a local lemonade stand, this basic premise still fails. Businesses NEVER reduce revenue. They will re-direct it to other departments or choose to save for a rainy day, but they never say ‘Oh the cost of beef is down this month so we r going to lower the cost of our burgers….’ They know that later when costs go back up, the customer will not b happy to pay more or to see a price hike. The goal is not to pay less in tax, its to get the best return on that investment. They can either give our tax money to wealthy corporate owners in the form of loopholes & incentives or they can invest into the area of society that most of us live in, focusing on the majority in place of a tiny minority who has leveraged power through corporate lobbying interests. I say he is a liar because he is aware of this & chooses to mislead his audience. I call him a bigot because he promotes biblically sanctioned hate against a minority group, the gay community.

People who are chronically on welfare tend to resent those who pay for it, because the resentment justifies them in taking it. People are generally more angry at those they have wronged than those who have wronged them. And it's a different kind of anger, much more intense, and hard to rid oneself of. It's relatively easy to forgive someone who has wronged you, but impossible to feel good about those you have wronged or are wronging, unless you stop and are sorry/repentant. And every able bodied person who takes welfare, without sincerely seeking a job, MUST feel resentment toward the society who gives it, in order to be comfortable taking it. This explains so much of what you see in society now, and I believe the leaders who instigated massive welfare programs understood this effect and are using it to bring our society down, and under their power.
He just aligns himself with morally right beliefs (and truth). I respect the hell out of that. We need more like him. I’m only a conservative because the left has lost itself.
A belief is a belief, not the truth. Get your grammar right, dude. Buy yourself a dictionary and learn the true meaning of words, will ya? A belief is a construct of your imagination propelled by imaginary theories that cannot be proven. Sounds like science, doesn't it? The proof is in the pudding.
The left has always been depraved. You need to understand history a bit better, especially in France and the UK before you can understand what any of these historical "Revolutions" were about, what they revolted against and THEN what they created after the revolutions were won. Left has always stood for weak, disenfranchised or evil. The political left poses as "liberal" only because they want to appeal to others to help them overturn their enemy's power.
I've never been a conservative.... I've always been a real liberal. Conservatives don't actually exist anymore since the last of them stopped holding office when Woodrow Wilson took over. Democrats went from Conservative to Leftist with Woodrow Wilson. Republicans are the true liberals... They were the ones who pushed liberal thinking like "All men are created equal." Democrats are nothing more than Socialist hiding behind "progressiveness/liberalism".
Who would have ever imagined that in 2019 at American prestigious Universities, saying a man is not a woman is controversial, let alone that such things as infanticide and Socialism are a morally & intellectually superior stance? We need a new definition for true intelligence.

I was at a dinner party yesterday and a young family was there that claimed to be socialists. LOL LOL They didn't like where they lived because it was not diverse enough. Of course it is a city in what I call the Frozen Tundra. Most humans really don't care to freeze 10 months out of the year. But I digress. Just an FYI, the husband is a principal of a school there. Please, please, know your teachers and principals before you send your kids to spend 8 hrs a day with them. Please. They were complete and utter morons, teaching your children.
The "not diverse enough" speech is hot air parrotted nonsense. I've lived in several major highly diverse Liberal cities and the same thing happens every time. The leftist intelligencia never live in the multicultural paradises they create. They either move into an area (usually before they have kids) enmass, gentrify it, which drives up property prices and drives out the "ethnic" community then they play Hipsters like said community is still there. As soon as they have kids they don't want to send them to the shitty leftist multicultural schools they voted to create so they move to suburbs, as white as possible to get a better school or they go private then start whining about how white the place is hoping everyone is too stupid or indoctrinated to notice their hypocrisy.
Andrew Klavan states truth so clearly. Some of my best friends have turned out to be insanely and unconsciously intolerant. In my experience, since my "red pill" experience (realizing my own insanity of intolerance, emotion and viewpoint), I have come to realize that Leftism and the leftist liberal perspective is simply a form of insanity; blaming others for what they, themselves, are doing, in the very moment that they are blaming others (as I had done for so much of my life). I keep praying for more courage, clarity and keeping a gracious heart in the face of false criticism. I respect the way Mr. Klavan expresses himself with such dignity, frankness and helpful humor.
You make a good point. Why has the GOP become the Party of Hate? For example: -- Slavery was actually a job "apprenticeship" for Africans. -- Nazi Concentration camps taught Jews to be "useful". -- African American Studies has no educational value. -- Alabama GOP is defying the US SCOTUS order to redraw congressional voting map. -- Multiple GOP states blocking voter registration for persons of color.

The reason the authors of our Constitution did not themselves include a bill of rights is that they feared that the federal government would consider such a list as our only natural rights. It is fortunate that the states insisted on a Bill of Rights because at least those rights are protected for us in the states as well.
They aren't though. A handful are enforced, mostly because they either benefit the ruling class more than they hurt them, or because they are American institutions far deeper than any written document. The bill of rights doesn't protect 1a, or 2a, you do by living it every day. The actual ink on paper for these rights are no more powerful than your right to privacy.
A very humble & gracious man! I really liked the reminder at the end of allowing their entire thought or point to finish before answering or refuting & leave them with something that they can ponder. It's the "pondering" of thoughts & ideas that has evaporated from those on the left & through a patient heart we can plant those seeds that will hopefully start changing the course our society is on!

My first time ever listening to Mr. Klavan. Thank you!! You brought back some of the wisdom of the ages for some young persons. What a rare treat for young minds!!
I'm 65 and wisdom doesn't always accompany age. I was Jew brought up Catholic and I was called a Christ killer and got the bejesus kicked out of me many may time. There was no place to run to. It made me stronger. As far as wisdom goes, I only pray I have some. Pride cometh before the fall. I was just diagnosed with cancer and November and December are going to be hellish from according to the doctors, but I wouldn't even consider taking my life. The Catholic church calls it the double death. To throw away the gift of life. It's like spitting in God's face.
I was awakened to a deeper relationship with God during my 10 year battle with cancer. Regardless of your mortal outcome, I pray that you commit to faith in Jesus Christ today.
What a wonderful thinking man. Very human, very measured and thoughtful. A great pleasure to watch him reach his conclusions while always remaining compassionate and considerate of others, even though he may not agree with their viewpoint.
I was blown away by the intelligent and coherent questions asked by the students. So very refreshing to know that young people CAN use their brain and think for themselves.
I've had a conflict with the Ten Commandments as well. I couldn't see how you could make this the basis for the law. How could you outlaw coveting or force one to honour their parents? Then I realised that it wasn't meant to be the law of the land. It was meant to be a guideline on how to live your own life. Even an atheist can do it if they see the idea of God as being the personification of truth. Now, the Ten Commandments make sense to me.
It was the law of the land for the followers of Moses "...until Shiloh come." It makes perfect sense for these outcasts to form their own civilization and "rule of law" code. Jesus didn't refute anything Moses wrote. What he did is add layers of personal responsibility to show where imperfect humans ruin the law by exploiting it against others and not living up to it themselves. Nobody in the Bible ever said that the Ten Commandments as written was to apply outside of the Tribal kingdoms AKA 'promised lands' as they were asked to "go in to the world". But one critical thing from the Ten Commandments is that liars destroy. It's better if everyone is afraid to lie at any time. If their conscience scolds them when they sin.
I told my mother the same thing back in 1972, "Mother, you have more in your life, a Phone, Auto, Electricity, TV, Medicine, Hot Water , you have more in your life than the Pharoahs of Egypt, Kings and Queens, of history past. Mr. Klavan, this was excellent. I've been a consumer of DW since day one and have not given you sufficient attention. Andrew had some funny lines, yet hardly anyone laughed (I nearly fell on the floor). But I am 77 and lived in a time when humour (English spelling, deal) was everywhere. This was a great lecture,
Truth isn't easy and freedom isn't pretty, but the one is simple and the other, beautiful. Our founders gave us this cool document, the Constitution. My gratitude to this good man and those who are doing the same for our American youth.

Not the police who dont have the power to pass laws and policies.
One last comment. I've been studying the Constitution and Congress for a while now and our Founding Fathers and the first Continental Congress was filled with wise men who read and understood Aristotle, Plato, St. Thomas, new all the Greek classics, the rise and fall of Greece and Rome and above all, the Bibleand of course the wisdom of their trusted wives. Used drugs, slept with dozens of women (and believe me I'm no catch so if you met many of these women you would know this is NOT a brag). This entire time I was telling people "I'm more left than I used to be" The truth is I was not. I was just making excuses for living a crap life. I didn't fix my life and then rediscover my values. I’m a 43 year old white man and have been a liberal my entire life. The left has slowly been losing me since 2016. I recently got divorced (from a super woke left wing woman whom I lost a ton of respect for the last 7 years, for a myriad of reasons. Our two sons and the way she chooses to raise them being the main factor)…

This speech in particular and the q and a afterwards sealed the deal and proved to me y’all aren’t nuts. The opposite in fact. Just logical, loving Americans who don’t want to see our entire country turn into Portland, Oregon. (I grew up there and won’t even bring my boys near it these days)
I sincerely thank you for your calm, rational discourse.

You might want to start with Love. Obviously John 3:16 is a key verse. People need to know Who God is, Who Jesus is, before they're told to run and repent to, who? God? A priest?

@@jelkel25 Great reply Thank you
Andrew Klavan states truth so clearly.
For example:
-- Slavery was actually a job "apprenticeship" for Africans.
-- Nazi Concentration camps taught Jews to be "useful".
-- African American Studies has no educational value.
-- Alabama GOP is defying the US SCOTUS order to redraw congressional voting map.
-- Multiple GOP states blocking voter registration for persons of color.
Had a huge RP moment myself when they told me Rittenhouse was a mass shooter and the crowd chasing him were heroes. I was like ‘we cannot be watching the same video’.
NYC was in bad shape and I’m afraid it is going down for the count for the last time
I love Klavan seems like a dear man
Agreed!!
He has great insight and wisdom. I don't agree with every single thing he said, but that's OK!
I think the term you're looking for is "centaur". Coloquially though that would make him half horse, not deer.
It's ok, easy mistake.
Respectful college students, nice to see. Some older people know stuff and it's ok if you don't know everything as long as you acknowledge that. I am an older person and I learn everyday. Good video 👍
Right On
They were raised with morals and have developed conservative values by observing what works!!
This man is a joy to listen to!
I quite like this fellow!! He's very well educated, and has been around for a long time
As a wise old woman I can say this man spoke a lot of truth.
*Demented old bag
The reason the authors of our Constitution did not themselves include a bill of rights is that they feared that the federal government would consider such a list as our only natural rights. It is fortunate that the states insisted on a Bill of Rights because at least those rights are protected for us in the states as well.
They aren't though.
A handful are enforced, mostly because they either benefit the ruling class more than they hurt them, or because they are American institutions far deeper than any written document.
The bill of rights doesn't protect 1a, or 2a, you do by living it every day. The actual ink on paper for these rights are no more powerful than your right to privacy.
"Anger is the Devil's cocaine" - Andrew Klavan
A very humble & gracious man! I really liked the reminder at the end of allowing their entire thought or point to finish before answering or refuting & leave them with something that they can ponder. It's the "pondering" of thoughts & ideas that has evaporated from those on the left & through a patient heart we can plant those seeds that will hopefully start changing the course our society is on!
@Oners82 The way the left is nowadays, makes you look like a liar. Most lefties shut down any form of debate with a mob style tactic. Where have you been? Maybe in a personal setting it is different, but a majority of public debate is silenced by lefties with name calling and sometimes violence. The Lefty motto today is "at any cost." Just ask Nancy Pelosi!
LT,. That was a very gracious response. Although both sides are guilty of being closed minded, you have some wise words. Whoever has you as a friend has a strong ally.
@@L0stEngineer Thank you Jonathan I appreciate that! One of my better moments....hehehehe! Drew always makes me smile & typically leaves me thinking about something. I have a great amount of respect for him & unfortunately in today's climate that list has taken a hit!! God Bless
@Oners82 That may be "statistically" true but in everyday life currently, you just proved a point. Sorry you "feel" that we're opponents I think of us as fellow Americans will differing views & opinions. Have a blessed day
@Oners82 WOW...a deep thinker with a shallow mind
Klavan makes the Q&A actually worth watching. Good on him.
I love Klavan! He always makes my day with Laughter 🤗
My first time ever listening to Mr. Klavan. Thank you!! You brought back some of the wisdom of the ages for some young persons. What a rare treat for young minds!!
Mr Klavan.... Thank You for sharing this talk with us. You were fantastic. Excellent job. Excellent.
Simple yet brilliant. I’ve saved this and watched it several times. Good reminder of what is important in life.
I lost it as “speak the truth and it will kill you. You can boil down the whole gospel to that.”
It's "they will kill you", not Truth, Truth doesn't kill a good person, bad people do.
Veritas odium parit - Truth begets hatred.
One of the best talks I ever heard you give. Wow. Great job.
Strange hearing such truth in today's world. Downright refreshing.
It’s a breath of fresh air in this crazy time.
He tells off the cuff jokes and I can't laugh because I'm waiting to hear what else he has to say.Inspiring.
The mass murdering god of the old testament should not be the standard of morals for any sane person.
I told my mother the same thing back in 1972, "Mother, you have more in your life, a Phone, Auto, Electricity, TV, Medicine, Hot Water , you have more in your life than the Pharoahs of Egypt, Kings and Queens, of history past. I said the same in the Nam 1968 to a friend who was complaining about the monsoon weather, I said, how would you like to be in 33 degree's below zero and no warmth, little food, and people trying to kill you at the same time, he looked up into the sky and said ..."Let it Rain"...he became my best friend.
Anyone watching this in 2023 and thinking it's more relevant today than 3yrs ago when this came out???
Fifteen minutes between generations. I'll add that, the older you get, the faster time seems to fly.
Damn guy, I teared up, hearing you talk about your son.
Ditto
I've never heard "thinking with the wrong head" explained so well (Body vs soul).
OUTSTANDING!!!! Clear and precise explanations with a soul's worth of value.
Andrew is my favorite ♥️
Wow! That was the best hour I have spent in a long time!
Wow Andrew, great talk. Thank you.
I love listening to people who I sometimes agree with and sometimes disagree with and enjoy every minute of it.
Loved hearing this man. Refreshing and correct about the polarity we live through
I want to comment about the audience. In the Q&A section all the participants respect the rules. That also contrast with leftists.
Such a respectful audience!!.
“The human race, according to religion, fell once, and in falling gained knowledge of good and of evil. Now we have fallen a second time, and only the knowledge of evil remains to us.”
-G.K. Chesterton
He needs a bigger audience!!
I appreciate his intelligence and respect for other people.
Mr. Klavan, this was excellent. I've been a consumer of DW since day one and have not given you sufficient attention. But your thoughts on the 7 Deadly Sins and the left opens up my mind to how to change the thinking of Democrats. And it's simple imo. "Name something wise that comes from the leftist platform."
Their answer is it doesn't feel good!
He IS really wise!
Essentially the theme/premise from the movie “Seven.” Ascribing the 7 sins to leftist ideology. Wonderfully articulated! I’m (now) a fan.
HAVE TOLERANCE FOR THE TRUTH ALSO
Kjell Hansen I’m not sure what you mean?
@@Chief5150 PEOPLE TALK SO MUCH OF TO HAVE TOLERANCE FOR THIS AND THAT
BUT IT SEEMS TO ME THAT MANY PEOPLE DIDN'T TOLERATE TO HEAR THE TRUTH
Kjell Hansen Sigh...😔, Alright I’ll bite. What truth? For the record, I didn’t mention tolerance at all?!
@@kjellhansen1387 that's because "tolerate the truth" is actually immoral. You must *love* the truth. Tolerance actually implies distain. To tolerate something means, by implication, that you want it gone, but are willing to allow it anyway for some reason.
Tolerating the truth is absolutely unacceptable. We must love it, with all our hearts. Because the truth is God.
Appreciate your eloquent speech & listen to your podcasts daily
Mr. Klaven. Love the Daily Wire it is my sanity .🥰
Theres no E in Klavan.
Klavan you’re a gem 💎
All human unhappiness comes from NOT facing reality squarely, exactly as it is.

I'm so grateful that YAF invited Andrew to speak. I love his perspective on liberalism. I believe he is wise and right. Thank you for the chance to hear him.
Andrew had some funny lines, yet hardly anyone laughed (I nearly fell on the floor). But I am 77 and lived in a time when humour (English spelling, deal) was everywhere. The thing is that humour lightens life's inevitable suffering- it's no coincidence that so many Comedians are Jewish. Lighten up, guys. Life is too tragic to be taken seriously. This was a great lecture,
They're too afraid to laugh 🤦
Truth isn't easy and freedom isn't pretty, but the one is simple and the other, beautiful. Our founders gave us this cool document, the Constitution. They never promised us a rose garden, only said, "Here it is. Try to keep it.". Andrew Klavan is showing these young people why that is and how to deal with it. My gratitude to this good man and those who are doing the same for our American youth.
Freedom is beautiful, *if you understand it as they did*
The founders didn't believe freedom meant "do whatever you want so long as you aren't hurting me" they believed it was "the ability to do that which is right, even when others don't want you to"
This is a beautifully put together speech. first time seeing Andrew Kalgan and I really like his character
What a beautiful, well crafted , consequential speech. Thank you Andrew Klavan for sharing your wisdom.
Andrew Klavan is my favorite Daily Wire Commentator.
Mine, too.
Klavany goodness at 6:00
Edit 4:20 no cowbell
3:34 more cowbell
Mmmm klavany. Good thing theres no E's in here.
Fake news! He starts at 3:34
I've never considered my self religious but I always followed many catholic beliefs. Idk why just have. Guess cause my parents. That's a great point about the seven deadly sins.
solid point - and very important POV: universities used to teach you how to contribute to society; now they teach you how to be aggrieved (envious)
“You have information in your phone that Aristotle would’ve killed for.”
Simple but true. We take so much for granted. I love America with all my heart and am grateful for all my blessings from this great country and God.
Oh, there's no "mankind" in Canada - our politically correct 'Prime Minister' told us THAT! According to him, we should only say "peoplekind"!!!
He's a bootlicker janishart , mankind is simply humankind
He could have answered the 2nd amendment/dont tread on me question better. I would have answered like this. Conservatives understand that the police are just the foot soldiers on the ground enforcing the laws of the lawmakers and policy makers. The "dont tread on me" flag is directed towards the lawmakers. Not the police who dont have the power to pass laws and policies.
"Say the truth and they will kill you; it will cost you" Thank you sir, you put right up there.
John and Abigail, James and Dolly and many more. Read those letter.
Mr. Klavan, great speech!
I have seen a few of your video clips on RUclips but didn't know you were such an accomplished writer.
Very interesting!
I will be spending the next day watching your entire "book" of video on RUclips...very thought provoking.
Thank you.
What an inspiring, thought provoking speech
I've been a conservative since I was 8.
At age 37 I went off the rails. Lost my perfect family and my very successful business.
Used drugs, slept with dozens of women (and believe me I'm no catch so if you met many of these women you would know this is NOT a brag). This entire time I was telling people "I'm more left than I used to be"
The truth is I was not. I was just making excuses for living a crap life.
I didn't fix my life and then rediscover my values. I fixed my values and then rediscovered life.
This was touching I loved it!!! Watch to the end!!! He is an amazing Wise man!!
