To be honest, what I wanted was not bigger buildings but bigger villages. No matter how much I searched, I couldn't find any mods or data packs that would make it possible. If anyone knows of such a mod, please let me know💬
I like that ReTerraForged basically gives Minecraft that true megastructure-y feel and calls back to that The Next Generation episode where the Enterprise enters the Dyson Sphere and sees absolutely massive rivers the size of great lakes and oceans that stretch on forever; or the dyson sphere internal seen from the last level of Freelancer or the big landscapes from a Ringworld. It's really really gorgeous. Thank you for sharing!
48 minutes in ! Hi RaytraceForge ! I wish ReTerraForged would be officially released in the future so we can play with stunning sceneries without having to worry about corruption or unstable world
I love seeing your videos! Do you have a tutorial video on how to install these different Mods onto your minecraft? I used to know how like a decade ago but nowadays I can't figure it out properly. If you don't would you ever make a tutorial perhaps? Also, I have a 3060ti, Ryzen 5500X and 16GB DDR4, do you think my PC could run these mods at a decent FPS?
Combine the Fresh Animations rescource pack to make the mobs look good in you vids maybe even try Fresh Moves to get animated eye (look up how to do the eyes)
Is it there any minimum requirements? I do have a high end gaming laptop, but i'd like to play it with my wife, and she has a laptop with rtx 3060 only. Will it do it, or should I get a 2nd laptop?
Oh! I tried that mod. From what I read in the mod description, it looked like it would create an interesting landscape, but it didn't seem to work with the terrain generation mod. The town just kept being generated at the same height, regardless of the terrain.
I don't get how all youtubers seem to be able to load distant horizon perfectly fine, but the rest of us get stutter after stutter regardless of our PC's specs
@@anonymousmonkey9491Load the chunks with a mod named “Chunky”. Start by doing the command “/chunky center” to center where it loads to the position of the player. Then do “/chunky radius” and specify the render distance you would like. Then start the loading with “/chunky load”. Once loaded enable distant horizons and set the cpu load to a high value. Once all chunks are fully rendered you should set the cpu load to a really low value for optimal performance.

Hi RaytraceForge !

Try the mod versions of both Teralith and Tectonic (you don't need an additional datapack), BUT turn on "increased_height" in the Tectonic config
Thanks!👍
I think larger villages should be easily doable with a simple datapack by increasing the "size" field in a structure's jigsaw config file
hey, you could try lukes grand capital mod i think it would look great

How do you set up reterraforged?
Can villagers pathfind properly in these kinds of villages?
Yes I think so🥸
Is it there any minimum requirements?

@@Raytraceforge Please try🙂🙏🏻
how do you even get that much of a render distance with the mod without your pc explloding? do you have to wait 10 hours for it to render chunks?
For render distance use "Distant Horizons" but for rendering you can use some mods like "Chunky" and "noisium" for forge
What was the preset used to generate this world?
This preset is on my discord😁
Can you run these in 1.21 latest versions
I don't get how all youtubers seem to be able to load distant horizon perfectly fine, but the rest of us get stutter after stutter regardless of our PC's specs
Make sure to use the latest version of Distant Horizons and Iris😁
@@Raytraceforge the one that supports shaders? that's exactly the one I used though...

@@anonymousmonkey9491And make sure you have performance mods too. I suggest using Simply Optimized.
@@anonymousmonkey9491I guess they pre generate the map, that makes it much easier on the cpu during runtime
my minecraft need adds sodium and fabric APi mod, but when i run, it's nothing happened. how to solve?
You will have some sort of error message right? There you can see what you have to do✌️
