Do the straps quick-release themselves when you fall so they don`t break your ankles?
No the straps don’t release so you don’t drop the board🥰 the snowboarding shoes is thic enough for to not break your ankles

@@MiguelSanchez-hy5wv I’m guessing he was a skier and used to the bindings coming off when you fall so the skis don’t take you out, but it makes more sense for skiing Bc they can swing your leg really awkwardly

To be fair some older strap bindings were intended to go over the top of the toes and were not angled over the front like they all are today.

Correct, Jakub! You'll want your pants over the highback, Mehmet. That's shown in the video at about 3:40.
Personal preference. I run with step-ins and can't be bothered with the hassle of ensuring my pants go over the highback. Just step-in and go.
@@rei but it looks like the inner layer (the one you called the gator) does go against the high back. Is that correct?
