Just bare in mind the blackrocks leather n rich will darken the vachetta by about 1-2 shades but really on a vintage bag the patina is already very obvious so deepening that bit more looks great regardless. I also find the blackrocks leather n rich keeps the vachetta conditioned for a good 12months 😁
I also purchase the same bag and your video helps me a lot to choose whats conditioner that I should buy... unfortunately i cannot find blackrocks here in SE :( waahh
You did a fantastic job, if your zipper is not smooth just buy some wax paper in the grocery and run it along the zipper. The vintage pieces are the best. Enjoy
Yes i love this trick (i use it on jeans haha). Its good now just alot of tarnish built up so the wax trick would of only added a coating to help the zipper run smoothly but not actually rectify the underlying issue. ♥️
I just got my bag in the mail too!! Just quick question, I see like a chip or light pink mark on the LV zipper pull at the front pocket of my Montsouris mini backpack. Is that a chip or should I use the cleaner to clean it and find out?:(

It wont clean canvas just use a leather wipe for that or use water only baby wipes but leather wipe is far better has some conditioning property in it. Black rocks first application cleans 2nd application after u waited about 7hr removes residual dirt+conditions. 3rd application 7-8h later purely conditions
U always have to wait about 7h+ inbetween applications of black rocks so has time to absorb into the leather cos it's very rich this product its not good to pile on top of each layer it needs time to absorb and dry

You are welcome! Its a fabulous product for unfinished leathers just use sparingly and remove the excess let it soak in overnight then repeat.
