Only the vintage GM have the datecode on the front buckle. Mine is from 2001 and has it in the inside. So maybe 2000 and down. You might look into the pm size if you want it smaller. I have all three sizes and surprisingly use the the MM size the most. To clean all my vintage items all I use is a small white towel with warm water and some dish soap. I never treat or conditon the vachetta because you can crack it. Even if you condition it. If the bag came from japan it is more likely to look dry and crack if you apply stuff to the leather because of Japan climate. Japan has very hot and humid summers. Not always happens but just keep in mind. The bag looks great on you. The canvas on the vintage bags are the best!

Jenny Dey only on the canvas not the leather. I use mr clean on the leather. Not on Vintage dry leather tho it will crack.

Love the backpack, I have the same one. I got a slide from etsy for the strings, it makes it easier to open and close the bag instead of tying it all the time. Enjoy!

Even though I have the Palm Springs Pm backpack now before I decided I wanted the Palm Springs I was going back and fourth between the one you have in the mm size and the Palm Springs pm in reverse ,I love my new backpack it’s perfect for every day and I have my grandson with me a lot I was worried the strap and drawstring would be annoying for me to get in and out of , I love the Palm Springs pm reverse because only the front pocket is in the reverse monogram I just wanted something different and I have to say where I live there are not a lot of people that even know about reverse monogram canvas ! I still love the look of the montousouris mm backpack though so pretty ! Enjoy it

i onmy use water wipes to clean my canvas and vachetts and always srpay vachetta with apple guard spray to protect it ( 2 coats and let fry in between) .

I knew it was real. There are authentication websites that you can send the pictures for a small fee and and they will determine whether it's real or fake. I also have a video on buying preloved soon! xx
Mercari and Poshmark has a return policy if If you receive an item that is not authentic when it was advertised as authentic. Posh authenticates items if 500 or more.
With eBay you have to use the authentication websites with pics, but then you can always get a diff item than advertised. Do your research!

I thought the GM would be huge too, but it’s really not abd im about your height. I decided on the GM and was expecting a huuuggeee bag, but I was pleasantly surprised it’s perfect. I want this bag!! I have the Palm spring pm so I’m still deciding. Also I use proauthenticators on FB they authenticate and the prices are responsible.
This was authenticated in stores if you watched the whole video :) Ebay is really good with returns and I trust the stores to authenticate.. I understand not everyone has time for that so I would be open to using a second party if need be! I'll bookmark them! Thank you! xx
