about the subject of skipping a older sibling, imagine a scenario, 2 married siblings, the older is 5 years without kids, would you expect the younger couple to go on birth control just so the older sibling isn’t hurt?! Every person with feelings understands that skipping a sibling can be hurtful but it is no excuse to keep younger brothers and sisters waiting for no reason.

I think it says somewhere u must pay a shadchan. I know of a story of a couple that didnt have children for many years until they figured out the shadchan was never paid. They went searching for the shadchan which was very hard and paid the shadchan. The couple had a child a year later. True story.

Amazing video. The same thing exists in the non hassidic World. Even worse especially for girls. Can you please bring on someone to address this issue. Also boys dating a girl 10 times and then they cannot commit. Terrible situation. Plus many other issues. אני בחור בן 27 ונתתי לעקוף גם את אח שלי וגם את אחותי בעיניי אני בחיים לא ראיתי שהם עקפו אותי. אבל ראיתי את השאלה ב-15 דקות אחרונות שהוא שואל שמע איך אבא יכול להגיד לבחור שמה צריכים לעקוף אותך אז אצלי שההורים שיתפו איתי פעולה בראשון. ובשני אז אני הייתי השכן דחפתי את זה יותר.
ואנחנו קבוצה עם בחורים מבוגרים חבורה כזה וממש לא מזמן היה אחרון שעקבו אותו שהתחתנה.

R' Yonason does amazing things! And while most of the things he says are true, he can affect more change if he will speak more respectfully and with more sympathy to the parents. Most want whats best for their children and it's hard to hear that a stranger thinks they know better than a parent. And while many are misguided, very few are as evil as he makes them seem
