Thank you so much for your videos! I am new to sewing clothes. I’ve sewed quilts for years, but sewing clothes I find more challenging. Please keep up the great work, I love it, thanks. Virginia
I bought this pattern and the fabric to make the sleeveless and sleeved version. I also have Sinclair's Bianca Bolero and hope it works with the sleeveless version. i havent started them yet because i am finishing Up a few other items. I need them for a cruise I am taking in December that makes stops in Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. I'm so excited for it all! As usual, your tips will be a big help. Thank you.
The thing I love most about your channel is You give your measurements and changes you make to the pattern it is the most helpful thing for helping me decide which patterns to purchase (through your link of course lol) and which ones I know I will have to do too many adjustments to make it worth my wild. Thank you.
Hi Karina, this is Laura, sharing my husband’s RUclips account. This looks like a great pattern for PDAG (Project Dress A Girl)! I know it’s adult size, but my thought is that the smallest size, in petite, with an A/B cup should fit a 12-14 year old girl
Your dresses are just gorgeous ! I really like the bird fabric and it is a great colour on you. I have bought the pattern and plan on sewing a muslin soon. Mine will have long sleeves as it is already frosty mornings here. I’m considering bishop sleeves on my final version. Easier for fitting a thermal vest/top under.
These are beautiful as well as versatile dresses. The style covers a wide reange of ages as well, like all, I think. You fabric choices are perfect. Only one small thing I noticed on the ligh teal dress neckline on your left side seems to be puckering a bit. Perhaps it can be presses out. I hope so. Undoing all that stitching would be a real pain!! Thank you Karina!
@@MrsMTMomma the fabric is very very soft and drapey. The facing will never be smooth like it is with the linen. One way to make it smoother would be to interface the bodice in a large area and then do the facing. I have done this before but only when the dress was fully lined
I’d do a FBA as normal using the E/F cup as a base and then do a 2” FBA. Then I’d close the dart on the side and take it half and half to make the waist darts large. I don’t have a video on this as it’s too specific.

So many new patterns here lately. And so little time. Not sure I will ever see them all up
There’s a new one every day 😀. I know it can seem like a lot. The difference here is that sewing is my job :)
Can the pattern be adapted to stable knit
Stable knits are usually heavier weight and I wouldn’t want the gathers made with heavier fabrics. You can, but I wouldn’t.
