I love your channel for what you present and the real life struggles there. As a foreigner, I always give to the people in need whenever I go the Philippines. I plan to return in January 2025. It would truly be a blessing to accompany you on one of your trips. I don't want to be on camera, but maybe we can prepare a small box of items to help the some people. I'm not rich and don't have much; but for years of seeing all the glitz and glamour and being blinded by the what is promoted as the Philippines; I would be happy to give something to some of the people that really deserve it (with your guidance, of course).

Based on my observations while living in Hawaii, Filipinos are among the most hospitable and modest people I know. This particular instance demonstrates the genuine love and compassion these people possess, even in the face of extreme poverty. Bless the people of the Philippines!

Two things: 1. You don't realize how blessed and fortunate you are until you see such. 2. I was in the U.S. Navy and now understand why there were so many P.I. sailors were in the Navy as well: A better life.

When I watch this video, I feel sad. I have visited Manila several times. The Filipino people in general are kind and respectful and deserve a better life, especially the young men, women and children.

Lol their smiles is a coping mechanism. They are trying to hide their true feelings. People who live in such conditions and wonder if they can eat at least 1 meal a day can't be happy

I like how you kept it real. Most foreigners who visit these kinds of place, lie and deceive their viewers into thinking that Filipinos in these places are happy and great people. But the reality is that they are miserable and will do anything (sweet talk foreigners, scam, etc..) to escape their current situations.

I grew up in place like that , 10 meters from our home was the garbage dump of metro manila , most of my neighbor are hard working and their children attend school , I used to collect scrap paper and tin can in that garbage mountain , we are 8 sibling in our family , 2 are engineer , we have a nurse , accounting graduate , all of my sibling finish college studies , we now improve our standard of living , not rich but belong to middle class , we now have our own house , away from that place , but one thing I know , most of the people on that slum are kind , hard working and their dream are to have job and afford a better place to live

I've been to the Philippines many times, and I noticed that the gap between the rich and the poor is quite large. However, one thing I've observed is that most of the people there are very hardworking and strive to provide a better life for the next generation. What they lack, however, are resources. I'm glad to hear about your life experience, and may God bless you.

You can contact their barangay directly if you would want to support these children and their community financially or with school supplies, educational materials, food, or any other kind of support. I have no doubt that the residents of this community will be delighted when they see this happen.

There should be a new law in the Philippines where any new presidential candidate, before being elected, must either volunteer in the slum areas or spend 1 week with the poor people. And the public will elect the president based on that. Who agrees that this should happen?
