    We go into the other ways we used to get internet which all work perfectly when reception is available. This is when Star link comes in, check out the video here ruclips.net/video/mN1hwLYkkH4/видео.html

    $170/mo isn't a whole lot more than what I pay at home for kinda crappy internet tbh 😂 thanks for the review I had been wondering how it was! ❤ travel safe

      No problem, pretty sure they have a home plan which is cheaper then this. Ours is the roaming package.

    Converted mine to 12v. Halved the power draw. Also flat mounted. It is always on even when driving.

      Oh we have been thinking of doing that, sounds like it’s definitely worth it. We didn’t realize how much power it would used having the inverter on for that long also doesn’t help the power draw

      Not sure, we haven’t lived streamed with it but it uploads videos pretty fast and we have had many Zoom calls with no issues

    I managed to get the dish at 225€ and the Roam plan for 59€. It's definetly not the same as my 1gb fiber connection but for traveling is perfect!

      Oh wow that’s a good deal. It’s faster than most internet providers here in Australia, which is crazy

    What was your average power draw like when the Starlink was in operation (stationary)?

    • @wadeanddani
      @wadeanddani  7 месяцев назад

      I don’t the number of the top of my head but it can use a bit if we are not careful. Specially if it’s cloudy and we are not getting much solar

    Does it continue working as you move?

    • @wadeanddani
      @wadeanddani  10 месяцев назад +1

      We have never tried this, our set up doesn’t allow for us to be moving at the sometime. As long as it can see the sky it could work I guess

    That's madness.. 170 a month.. Is everything in America soooo expensive. Here in Southern Africa we pay around 50 usd a month for it

    • @wadeanddani
      @wadeanddani  Месяц назад

      Oh no way, that’s sooo cheap. We are in Australia so it’s AUD. It’s definitely expensive but in super remote areas there are no other choices if you want to get internet
