Starlink satellites fall to Earth when they reach the end of their service and reenter the atmosphere to burn up. However, some pieces of debris may not incinerate and could fall to the Earth's surface, posing a risk of injury. Here are some things to know about Starlink satellites falling to Earth: Frequency: There is almost a daily Starlink reentry, sometimes multiple. Visibility: Starlink satellites falling to Earth can be visible from the ground. For example, a Starlink satellite reentered over Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, and Oklahoma on November 10, 2024. Debris: Some pieces of debris may not incinerate and could fall to the Earth's surface. Pollution: The aluminum ash from burned satellites could damage the ozone layer and alter the Earth's albedo, which could change the upper atmosphere's temperature. Geomagnetic storms: Geomagnetic storms can cause satellites to reenter the atmosphere early. SpaceX's response: SpaceX says that their satellites are designed to fully demise during reentry. However, some say that SpaceX doesn't shoulder all the blame, and that the problem is not just about one company.

Actually, Elon is an idiot. some sort of ACD related to deep seated narcissism .
@@glennkennedy441 so because you think hes a narcissist we should talk down on him constantly and diminish his accomplishments as if he isn’t on the forefront of revolutionizing society? With all thats he’s done and continues to do, narcissism is the least of my concerns.
@@jacobjaramillo3192 People need to know who he really is and what his ulterior motives are....
I work for starlink on paper
On paper is a euphemism for padding of an expense or what the mafia used to.
My Starlink system failed in the first year and I had to replace the cable on the roof. Not easy and expensive. Now it’s on the ground because I don’t trust it.
one massive downside that precludes me from considering sorry. Even more now.
Mirror for america and UK and somebody who thinks his name matters - elon musk
A Nobody afraid of reality and words and truth and map of america and map of europe
It's ridiculously expensive
South Pole ❓🤷🏻🤷🏿🤷❓
Thanks for the info. I won't be getting one.
Never mind all this space junk.
Omg, stop looking at yourself on screen
Starlink ruins the sky for astronomers.
Watching cat videos is more important.
I’m curious how it ruins the sky. Is it the addition of satellites in the sky or something else.
@@bradrobey Astronomers get lines across images and they ruin radio astronomy to.
@@JD-oc3jx Sure am seeing an awful lot of quality ground based astronomy images in the last year.
Between coatings, physical redesigns and changing orientation when they are close to the terminator they aren't having much effect once in their operational orbits.
The only thing I need to know is it's an Elon service. That alone is reason enough not to buy it.
👍
So true.
But……, if Elon were to support Kamala, you would have considered it?😂😂😂😂
Starlink is also terrible for astronomers as their very bright satellites affect the images from telescopes.
Telescopes from earth or in space and what distance from earth ?
The bigger benefit to the world population of internet access far outweighs stargazer needs.
when Starship is operational telescope will be placed in space so don't you worry.
Boo HOOO
6th thing to know - it's Elon Musk so that disqualifies it for me right right away.
That's good, coverage is limited to a number of customers in a area, so luddites should be last ones to get it.
Womp womp
Why are you mad?
Good to hear, so why are you watching this video?
Good, cause many people (like yourself) don't deserve to benefit from technology or experience improvements. But I don't think you have the fortitude to stick with what you're saying. My guess is, you'll be riding around in a robotaxi once they're available, because they will be the most affordable and convenient way to travel, and you will be doing so in total shame
I will never use anything owned by Elon!
Must be a trump hater, you need to understand hate kills within
Good, you don't deserve to experience the improvements and efficiencies that are coming to everyone ....except for you
I curse you to only “use” things owned by Nancy Pelosi , Jo and Kamala.😂😂
Starlink satellites fall to Earth when they reach the end of their service and reenter the atmosphere to burn up. However, some pieces of debris may not incinerate and could fall to the Earth's surface, posing a risk of injury.

Here are some things to know about Starlink satellites falling to Earth:
Frequency: There is almost a daily Starlink reentry, sometimes multiple.
