The gaming space on RUclips is very saturated and competitive, so breaking through requires becoming "known for something", not just being a generic gamer posting generic content behind low quality thumbnails and titles (You'll get better at these as you keep uploading).
Try to use successful channels in your gaming niche as examples (don't copy) on what you can do to improve your own content. Compete with yourself, getting a little better every video.
Thank you guys for watching and I hope you took something away from this video, it's been 2 years in the making.
Super informative video. Much appreciated! 7th-8th grade average reading level 😬
Mind if I said this.. Keep going on producing..
Ty bro, that’s great for good quality and persistence. Sometimes you can get demotivated, especially if u are still studying.
Agreed. I see RUclips's uploading blah content within edits or lackluster thumbnails and then wonder why their RUclips channel is not growing.
I just want to say that, of all the videos I've seen that talk about growing channels, this one is BY FAR the most helpful I've seen (including videos from the very channels you recommended). Seriously, hats off to you dude! Me and a ton of others really appreciate the work you've done here!
I just started my channel not long time ago. i found it really hard to get views and subscribers. But i am not giving up. I have passion.
Don't give up. I'm gonna try proving myself I can get 100 subs by the end of this year on another channel to prove my friends wrong. So, just follow what he said, and you'll be fine.
I’ve been mainly focusing on shorts, and working on obtaining subs. Just started posting 2 months ago, but I’ve definitely seen growth. Went from 30 to 85 subscribers. AWESOME VIDEO!💯
You’re tips are right on, and help a lot plus validate what I’ve been doing (is working) Slowly but surely. KEEP AT IT EVERYONE!
🤙🏼❤️💛💚🙌🏼
I use inShot to edit.
Literally one of the best channels I’ve seen. So too the point no fluff just actual tips that help . This is gold !
Hey MidnightMen, this video is very helpful. I liked the way you explained in detail from top to bottom on how to grow the YT channel. Even I believe not only for gaming channels but can also apply to other channels' format. Keep it up and after watching two of your videos. I am now your subscriber. Cheers & Beers!!!
This was one of the most informative videos I have seen thus far that has great advice on how to start and improve a gaming channel! I'm bookmarking this to rewatch and take notes ❤
As a beginner gaming livestreamer, I applied these steps and saw the results during my first stream! Thanks a lot
Thanks. Really appreciate your vids, I am just starting out but your advice is being taken on board with a lot of interest. I am becoming quite passionate about all of this and what you are providing is fantastic. Great stuff. Cheers mate.
This video really helped me get 1k views on my first video. I really appreciate you man. Especially those thumbnail tips and fonts at 7:50, but the whole thing is full of good advice. This is probably the only "how to grow your youtube channel" video I've seen that really delivers for gaming channels. THANK YOU!
This is killer content tips! thank you man for creating this, really helps
You answered a few questions that have been burning in the back of my mind with every post. Subscribed 😃
As always , I love your videos bro. I always take something away from your content to better either my stream set up or some like this! How to grow my gaming channel 🙏
I have been doing RUclips for 2-3 years now. I must say that I am still tiny but enjoying myself and doing what I can. I decided to watch this video just for fun I might get but it helped me quite a bit. I thank you for helping us all see some stuff that would be difficult otherwise. Keep up the good work and once again thank you for all your help, not just for this video but for the tutorials and reviews you post from stuff you might buy like a capture card!
I haven’t been at it anywhere is long as u but I can say stay in motivation upload more regularly Mabey once or twice a week and if your content isn’t working then try and do different games. And I understand this is ur language but Mabey pop ur titles into translate and get a broader audience

Thank you for the tips when you mentioned about the balance between personality and value you provide that is something I am working on I have friends that tell me to show more of my personality in videos and the live-streaming part that is something I will do again I was nervous at first that people wouldn't want to see it but I want to give it a try and change things up thanks again

You're a good man. Making videos to help others. 👍
Great Video Midnightman!
I just got started and it is very scary in the beginning! Especially talking to what feels like an empty room. I decided to go with indie games. Hopefully one day I can make people happy and support other channels as well!! Thank you for this video
I’m just starting my gaming channel. This is exactly what I needed. Been getting decent views so far. Now looking to have a better performance on my page.

Awesome video! Thanks for your advice! 😎
Thanks for the great video, Will have to do a few things differently when it comes to this channel but great to see I'm doing some things right.
Great job man. I’ve been on the fence on starting a channel and overthink things. Which ends up with me just pushing it back further and further. You’ve broke things down in such an easy way to understand and I appreciate that. Thank you.
Just subscribed to you! You got this👑

RUclips is not a sprint, it's a marathon, don't give up, we can get there together 💪🏼..
It's hard sometimes to see most of your things at zero though.
Preciate everything you did and said in this video bro, very motivational and u Said alot of important things that I couldn't quite figure out how to do easily such as the background thing for thumbnails. I've only been at it a few months so still lots of learning to be done 💯
This great bro.
Great video thank you! I just started a channel and these tips are great! You earned my sub!
Thank you for your video. It’s great tips. Will see you when u become 1 million or so.

Great tips, really like the fast-paced explanations ~
Thanks for your advice I learn a lot.
Hey man this video is positively packed
Thanks so much for this info it’s so informative!!
bruh u open up my mind , u had different niche than other yt creators and your x- factors were on point . I usally watch grow your gaming channel for this type of info but after watching your video about gliip and editing apps( android). here a tip for you make more vids about android devices and make them short bc i feel like long vids is a waste of my time.
I learned a lot! Thanks!
Thank you. This made me just start uploading videos and bother with the rest of the details after.
Helpful. Thanks!
Great video, thank you
Amazing video! Thank you for sharing
I appreciate this video so much. My only question would be what do you suggest a walkthrough gaming channel should do to grow?
I want to be a gaming channel similar to 8-BitRyan/CoreyXKenshin but I don’t think they would be considered walkthrough channels.
Your video didn’t mention much on walkthrough channels so I thought I’d ask here. Thanks again for the amazing video.
Awesome video really appreciate it as I’m just starting out my Chanel trying to figure out what kind of gaming content people want to watch
Find that nice intersection between what you like to make, but what people want to watch
subbed ❤
Thanks for the advice Fam 🖤💯
Hello thanks for sharing man
About to hit my 2 year anniversary. And you really helped me with settings and elgato set ups and all that stuff so I appreciate you and everything felt to hard and crazy when I started and now I have a good idea I enjoy it and I'm sitting at 319 subs with over 95,000 channel views and I'm really having fun.
That’s the most important thing at the end of the day. If you’re it having fun what’s the point?
The weapon swap was really helpful!
this is one of you're best vids
Best tipps ever, thank you
Good video. Good advice. Me and my son have a gaming channel that we’re trying to grow. I just recently subscribed to Adobe premier. I’m learning how to edit good videos.
Thanks for video :)
thanks for the information! goodluck everyone 🍻🍻🍻
Thank you bro ❤ I just stated with my small channel
This is really good. A gold mine! ❤
Thanks so much
Great stuff
tysm really needed this
I have just started RUclips so this was really helpful BTW great video
I’m trying to have a gaming channel this is helping so much🎉🎉🎉 keep up the good work❤❤❤❤
Recently started creating content in a Niche I have followed for years and this may be the most important step, at least for me
No joke, I found some valuable resources here. Thank you. I started a RUclips channel on doing game controllers. I’m very happy doing the job and feel passion. But when I first started, I felt camera shy and still haven’t shown my face. I sounded nervous and bored at first, but in my last video, I used a script and tried to sound a little more enthusiastic and used gifs to add some comedy to the controller reviews. I’m not sure if it’s best to show my face or not, with 58 subscribers and 16 videos in 2 months. I’m slowing down content a little to see what else I can do to get better. The problem is, I can’t find anyone to critique my videos. Is there a website you would recommend that could give feedback to my videos, especially the most recent I published? Thank you for the video.
thanks for the video!
This is a really helpful video!
Thankyou❤️
I come across your channel and this will definitely help my gameplay in a long run I thought about record mobile games I been playing but with your help you are the best ❤️
Happy to help out! Good luck on your content creation journey!
this was a goody right here !!! 💪🏾🔥
Another banger from the big midnight 💯
Thanks, Benji!!!
How did he guess I already liked it...
Thank you Midnight, this really helped 😀
Stumbled upon this thanks to the algorithm, lol. I really like your presentation. Didn't take me long to like and subscribe.
Glad you were able to find it! Thank you
i really think this video is gonna help me and more great creative Creators :)
pretty good tips thanks
Thanks midnight I needed this im so close to getting monetized and I been getting to complacent with my videos instead of trying to improve them.
It’s tough, one thing you can do is check your retention graph in your analytics for each of your current videos. That will tell you where people are clicking off, use that data to see where you can make tweaks to your new videos. Also don’t forget to check others doing similar videos as you, see their style and content structure to get ideas. 💡
Aweso tutorial bro! I like how you gets down to bus
This is such an eye opener. Like I know my content ain’t top tier but I feel I do have a good personality. I know I still have a lot to learn. But I feel my biggest mistakes are titles and descriptions As I am not “big time” it’s not something that will work.
I do need to work on “editing” as I was using “iMovie” for ages and that’s so basic. So I just started using filmora for editing.
My biggest issue is promoting.
As far as replying to comments… I only have 200 subs and only get like 1-3 comments per video. So it’s difficult to reply to comments that don’t happen 😅
Thanks these are good tips I’ve been doing most of them. Really all I think I need to do is find a niche. I do gaming but it’s more so variety and it’s pretty hard to grow on variety
Yeah you can’t switch up the games too much, have to really choose one and be dedicated to the content posted around that game. Audience has to know somewhat of what they’ll be getting content wise
After two years of uploading mostly gaming videos and struggling BIG TIME, I have decided to re-evaluate what games I upload, especially since I found out the hard way that most of my videos are in SD and not great visually, even though my PS4 is set to record in 1080p. Thanks for the tips, much appreciated.
A lot of views decrease in September because people are going back to school and do not have as much time to watch videos like in the summer.
@@MidnightManwell I followed and got no where lol and it's the summer time all the kids are home too!!
Amen about enjoyment
Thank you so much
Excellent video! checked out Uppbeat, and a lot of tracks SLAP!
🔥
I like this channel, honestly.
