I think it is abundantly easier to just bolt in the manual pedal box, rather than trying to use parts from both. Almost at this stage for my swap, these videos have been super helpful!
a good tripod is something that would make your life so much easier, so you can actually use both hands. thanks for the videos though theyve helped a lot!
So informative needing to come back after not working on my project for 6mo and you helped me pick up right where I left off 🙏 shoutout out you ad your videos entirely when my car is done I’m so close
No problem. Thanks for being the first one to acknowledge the new series. Lots more episodes coming on the whole process, there’s also a playlist with the whole swap, Every episode in a row
Thanks to your awesome video I have completed my manual swap and everything works. One question- the automatic gas pedal has a kickdown switch behind it. now that my car is manual can the switch be removed? is there any special tips or instructions to remove it so it does not affect throttle or accelerator?
You can change it to a stop screw, careful if you don’t set it right it will break your gas pedal, but in reality there’s no point it doesn’t do anything anymore You can just leave it as is
@@ProblemSolverGarage i just connected hard like from the master to the the soft line and that to the slave hopefully that works, bled fine so fingers crossed
Doing a swap on my little brothers m3 and we were dropping the trans in and you can tell the input shaft is in but still doesn’t go in enough to be able to put the bolts and we push and push any tips on what we can do?
Hey man your videos are super helpful just finish my manual swap watching your series. Thank you !

@@ProblemSolverGarage ok. I will leave it as is since it doesn’t hurt anything. Thanks again for your help and support.
YOU THE BEST!!!!!! THANKS!!!
Thx
is that bracket you welded on the chassis for the slave necessary? or can i just connect all the slave lines and run it?
I can't remember. If you don't know how to weld you could screw a bracket on
@@ProblemSolverGarage i just connected hard like from the master to the the soft line and that to the slave hopefully that works, bled fine so fingers crossed
@@Tblu_3 well you don't want that steel line to move, that's the point of the bracket.
Thanks

My manual pedal has only the top hole not the second one? Do you know why
Maybe the older ones didn't have a safety neutral switch but not too sure which Hole you're talking about it's been a while
Doing a swap on my little brothers m3 and we were dropping the trans in and you can tell the input shaft is in but still doesn’t go in enough to be able to put the bolts and we push and push any tips on what we can do?
Pull it back out sounds like you guys missed something, maybe your clutch is misaligned
You shouldn’t have to force it
Also check your pivot pin, make sure you have a new one
hey man did you keep your kick down switch for the throttle?
Yes
But it’s disconnected it doesn’t do anything anymore
@@ProblemSolverGarage alright. it doesnt affect how wide the throttle body opens correct?
@@nicka.8993 It’s only there to downshift the automatic transmission which is no longer there
@@ProblemSolverGarage Alright thanks. Your 944 videos are also helpful. good stuff man.
Where did you get that clutch line? Ive been looking everywhere
You'll probably have to make it
Got mine from the parts car
I can’t find the clutch bleeding video?
Never ended up making one, is the only video that's missing
Can I use a e46 clutch pedal assembly in a e36 do you know or anyone on here have any input
I don't know
