Oh. My. Origami. I actually made it, but it took forever and it was really hard! I am very impressed and I never could have come up with something like that! Well done!
First, it went well at beginning, until 16:20, i been struggle on that part for like 10 min and it TORN out... So i give up. This is so many level dude!! Nice.
Tadashi, I was wondering why you haven't uploaded in awhile. I am glad that you have made the instructions much more clear for learning origami students, even though I didn't need the instructions to be this clear (lol). Too bad that I can't support you on Patreon, I'm only 15. I will as soon as I can. Your videos and models are stunning! I wish you the best of luck for the rest of your origami career. -Raden
I was going through my pile of DOH!rigami(failed attempts), and I found a dozen or so mangled Darth Papers. His little feet and body would be perfect, then his head would be crushed, ripped, the paper no longer able to hold a crease.... and I threw them all away. However, I figured I may as well try again, because origami takes patience and lots of practice. Everything was going well, and then It was time to shape the helmet. I had a really rough time getting the locking fold to stay, and every time I would get it, it would pull apart while I was shaping the top and back. Trying to fold the top edge to the inside was killing Darth, bc it kept rolling instead of folding, so the helmet kept coming out too short. After I had taken it apart and refolded it around 16 times, I took a deep breath, used my glue stick to hold the back pieces together and give the paper some strength back(it started to feel like very worn cotton). I glued my finger to the inside of the helmet on accident, and very carefully got a dab of water on my other hand to make the glue let me go. I worked on the helmet shape another ten minutes, and when I stood the model up to have a look at him, I understood why God made me so stubborn. Hallelujah! Five years, countless hours, and dozens of do overs later...I now have one completed Dark Lord Vader! 🍻🏆🚀👏👍 Thanks, Tadashi. Now it's time to fold Yoda, or the force will be out of balance. 😉😄 Cheers!
love the new way you do your tutorials!!! they are much clearer and easier to understand (for beginners at least, I had no trouble following your older tutorials)
Thanks a lot for the great and easy to follow instruction! I felt quite confident while folding it. I just made the mistake to try it with normal printer paper... it was to thick!
こんにちは、あなたは日本の折り纸王神谷哲史?私はとてもあなたの作品が好き! ! ! ! ! ! I am a Chinese paper folding fan, specially downloaded youtube to learn, I think your work is very good! I very like it! I hope you can continue to update the video! I will always pay attention to you!
I tried this several times and the only thing I ended up with was several sheets of crumpled paper. I guess I don't have the patience for this. Thank you for your video, time and effort to produce this model.
The tutorial was well done, and the video clear, I believe if i attentively followed along I could make the origami. Well done. Also, an idea for the hole in the helmet is to place some kind of small candle or plant such as alfalfa sprouts in the bowl inside the helmet. A wonderful piece. +1 Subscriber
Great video! I enjoyed doing this one a lot. It wasn't too complex, but the finished product looks great! I made it for my nephew for his birthday. He's going to love this cute little Darth Vader!
The last minutes were horrible :D the paper got a little bit too wet, so I wasn't able to fold the head properly.... well, it still looks kinda cute :3 thank you very much for this great tutorial!
after 3 tries, I did it! althou the helmet is pretty hard. couldn't get it to sit right and secure the ends... still feels pretty good to complete. thanks so much for the design!
Great video ! the model is beautiful, but the helmet is really difficult to make, and the instructions are not as clear that at the beginning of the video. It took me some time, but it was worth it ! ☺ Oh, just a thing, DON'T PUT MUSIC ! That music haunted me for an hour long, if only you hadn't put it ! Thanks aniway, I'll check out your other designs !
Awesome tutorial, great instructions! I am gonna be back for more for sure! One small suggestion that could help maybe would be to give some information about paper weight. I just did the Vader with a paper on the thicker end (300g) and that proved to be more difficult then necessary. Maybe you could mention that alongside with the paper's ideal dimensions at the start of your tutorials. Again, I love your tutorial and the Vader worked out nicely even with the heavier paper, but had I known about it from the start, I might have chosen differently and minimised the hassle. Thanks and keep up the good stuff!
Hi Tadashi, I just thought of a great idea! You know the Emperor's Royal Imperial Guard from Star Wars? Well, If you changed your Darth Vader to red paper and were able to modify the head into a masked hood shape, it would look like an Imperial Guard! Easier said than done though.
olá Tadashi, eu consegui reproduzir seu modelo, não ficou tão bom como o seu mas eu consegui hahaha parabéns pelo seu trabalho, sou fã de todos seus modelo, mas só consigo fazer alguns de nível intermédio hahahahha
I'm going to give you an idea (only if you like it and you don't see it too difficult). You could make a new version (your version) of the origami Yoda. JUST IF YOU WANT 👍
Took me 3 tries and about 5 hours, but i finally did it. Thanks, man!
Holy

Perseverance!
Well done editing. your are setting the bar high.

Hi Tadashi!! I loved making this Darth Vader!!! Please, can you desing a model of Chewbacca?? Thank yoy so much!
Excelent job and video. How ever! Congratulations!
I really like your touch on origami. It's not all basic animal figures and such. You take the origami into the world of today, and I like that a lot.

Nice model and clear video. Thank you. Mine worked, but kami paper tears too easily. Need to find some stronger black paper for it.
I'm going to give you an idea (only if you like it and you don't see it too difficult). You could make a new version (your version) of the origami Yoda.
JUST IF YOU WANT 👍
