I have been studying your videos regarding rear mount turbos. Thank you for all the detailed information and practical knowledge and experience that you put into all of your videos. I am building a highly modified 1967 MGB GT with a Mazda Miata NC/Ford 2.5 four cylinder and a Miata NC 6 speed transmission. Because of the size of the engine compartment, and potential heat issues, I really like the idea of mounting the turbo under the rear seat shelf (where the dual 6 volt batteries use to live....my battery will be relocated at the right rear). The idea of having a small flat oil tank directly below the turbo drain that is plumbed to an electric oil pump back to the engine makes complete sense. What is the size of the tank that is necessary and how is it plumbed? I think I see one line in and one line out to the pump and the large vent line but I don't quite understand your venting system if the oil is under pressure. Do you have any thoughts on the type and brand of electric oil pump? A quiet one would be preferred. Could an oil catch can in the engine compartment that drained to the engine using gravity under normal air pressure be considered an "open vent" system and would that work the same way as your 3/4" vent line to the rear bumper with the foam? Many thanks and please continue with you videos. All the best.

Can you share the oil pump (the quieter one) that you ended up going with?

Fantastic Griff she's really hauling ,I noticed in one of your vids that you have a bypass hose tapped into the inlet manifold between to rear of the heads does this make
a difference to the cooling by opening up the rear of the heads for water .Im having trouble with heating in my VK running a 355.Cheers Garry

The bypass helps with steam pockets which cause hot spots in the rear part of heads, your overheating is a separate issue
