National Anthem was the song that solidified Lana as a living legend when it comes to true artistry, she’s not just a musician, she’s a poet, songwriter, she’s a person I feel I can truly relate to. Great reaction guys!

The last speech that Lana gave in this video was Jackie Kennedy’s final letter to JFK after he was shot. It’s absolutely poetically horrifically beautiful.
Also - hats off to her voice acting because the way she read it was heartbreaking.

its funny you phrased it like that. when we started we were trying to talk to the camera and do the normal "lets us know in the comments" and other cheesy things like that. But we realized that what we like in reaction channels is when you feel like you found a song and you are sharing it with someone, so we tried to drop all the "youtuber" things (minus a few things to keep the videos on track) and focus on just being friends that are watching videos

I love how she’s not scared to go there. She blends just enough of what we are used to then compels us to bend our ear to her different sounds. I literally slept on her because I wasn’t into her honeymoon album off the first listen. It’s now my most fav album.

Lana is my fav artist of all time. I love all her albums. But NFR is a masterpiece and Ultraviolence is also. I suggest listening to all of both. Ride is my fav music video. And a song not to miss cause it’s on the deluxe Ultraviolence edition is Black Beauty. That song gives me chills. I can’t wait for u to get to West Coast though. And Shades of Cool. I love every NFR song but Cinnamon Girl, Happiness is a Butterfly, & California are the best if I have to choose. The first 9 tracks on Lust for Life are perfection. And you’d like Gods & Monsters, Blackest Day, Young & Beautiful deserved an Oscar.....how she doesn’t have awards is beyond me.
I think when it comes to artists, its easy to give awards to ppl that dont do anything heavy, they dont piss anyone off or offend anyone or make a stance on anything, so its safe to give them awards..
When someone actually says and means something, you have to agree with them to give them an award. Also i think when it comes to artists, the harder you hit with one person the less you hit with everyone. But that one person feels special
So id rather follow an artist that only i like that makes me feel something, than an artist everyone likes for no reason other than they dont say anything with substance.
All in all, fuck awards lol, its usually people that have shitty tastes that gets to decide
Actually the video was inspired by the John F. Kennedy death. And the monolouge at the end was a letter that john's wife wrote after he died...such a sad story that had a big impact in this world. Rip.

@@BestFriendsReact It’s true, there is a music video for “Carmen” on Lana’s official channel, but the reason it probably wasn’t on your list is because it wasn’t released through VEVO or another MV hosting service officially; it’s just a compilation of random clips, homemade by Lana years ago. Of course “Video Games” follows the same concept (homemade video of random clips) but it was released through VEVO officially, and is one of her most popular music videos. There’s a lot of videos to get through so I wouldn’t waste my time with “Carmen”, but it’s up to you lol

Well I had to find out what Leech means 😜 but before I understud, there was the sound which pulled me into the band.

The singer is Julian and what realy calmed me down is that the members doing fine with each other.😋
They work good together and they are active.

At the start of the band, Julian played guitar, 2014 the old singer left and they did not found somebody to match in the band.
Than they said, hey Julian, you could try to sing 😜
And he, OK, I can learn it.
And hell he did, he got talent, took a teacher and practice a lot, the screams and all that stuff.😆
That impressed me very much 👍 it's so cool and in the song: Aloha' Oe which starts softer, you can hear how good he is, so sympathetic.

thats awesome to get to know the members of the band and be interested in the behind the scenes aspects. i like to watch and focus on editing and things like that in videos. And we did check out Neverland in Ashes, it should be up within a few days. We liked a lot about the band, i want to hear another one by them, so we might try the one with Ghostkid, maybe it is heavier!
But about this video, Lana Del Rey seems really cool to me, she makes you think about things that are personal, and her voice is soothing enough to make is sink in.
I like Twice for a completely different reason, if you go into it wanting to listen to a happy song that can be brighter and be cute, they dont disappoint. Its weird i can go into a metal song and feel like its not heavy enough and that can both me, but at the same time listen to bright kpop and it be happy its not heavy at all. Expectations change how you feel about music a lot.
