This was so helpful. TY!
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial by Sherri.
Isn't she amazing?
I just ordered EPP supplies from Fat Quarter Shop. Perfect timing for this video. I love the things you made. Thank you! 🌸
Very interesting, Sherri. Thank you!
Nice tutorial. Thank you.
Fantastic demonstration! I’ve been hesitant to try using the glue that everyone has been showing lately and haven’t since a close up on hand basting. Great job and well shown/explained.
Thank you so much for your comment and encouragement!
Thank you Moda and Sherri! Working on EPP right now and appreciate all of Sherri’s tips😊
Thanks for this wonderful instructional video. I have been wanting to try EPP but concerned because I thought it would be too hard. Your instructions have given me the confidence to try! Thanks so much!
Thanks for the video!
love this tutorial....and where or where can we find the darling needle threader set up?
Thank you so much Diane! You can get the clover needle threader at your favorite Local or Online Quilt Shop! The wood base is from QuiltsandClappers shop on Etsy! Just search "Needle Threader Caddy."
Thank you so much! Love to learn this and also want to learn wool applique!
Thank you!
Would love a video on how to stitch the EPP flowers onto the background, please 😊
Curious about the pattern behind you. It's adorable.
Hello Suzanne! That is the Blooms pattern. Available at your favorite Local Quilt Shop or you can visit Sherri's Etsy to grab a digital version! www.etsy.com/shop/SherriQuilts?search_query=blooms
Wondering about hand basting over glue. Does it make it more accurate?
It might make the glue hold longer but probably not much more accurate! Using both methods would be a lot of extra work, but if its relaxing for you--go for it!
Annie, in the video, Sherri used 1” Hexagon Papers. Are you able to share what size acrylic hexagon template Sherri used to cut the mini charms?
Hey Sharon! Absolutely--there is an acrylic template from Paper Pieces that is specifically for 1" hexies! It has the 1" hexie shape and then a 3/8" seam allowance. You can ask for it at your favorite local quilt shop- if they don't have it they can order it for you! Thank you for watching!
@@modafabrics Thank you, Annie!
What is the acrylic ruler you used for making your pieces. There are so many but I would love to use the one you used.
In this video Sherri used the Paper Pieces 1” finished size template!
Where can I get the wood holder that you used
Check out the comments above with the Etsy shop info! Thanks for watching!
Sherri what needle do you use
Sherri loves the Binding Needle from Primative Gatherings for her EPP!
What's that little holder for your thread, conditioner, needle threader? ❤❤❤
Oh my gosh! Isn't it amazing? You can find them at the QuiltsandClappers shop on Etsy! I ordered one immediately after we finished filming!
What size needle do you use?
I don't know about Sherri, but I usually use a 10 because it's thin but strong.
Sherri loves the Binding Needles from Primitive Gatherings for her EPP work! I can't find a size on them but she mentioned those specifically! Hope this helps! I've been using size the size 9 piecing needles from Tulip! Most recommendations I have seen are a size 9/10.
Designer Tips - thank you Moda team, love this! Feeling refreshed about diving back into my EPP stash. Sherri, as usual, is awesome. ❤😊
@@modafabrics I've been using the size 9 but it will not "thread" when I use the cute needle threader. Somehow it doesn't catch, so I was thinking that the needle eye is too small. I use Aurifil 100% cotton thread size 50wt. Should I choose a different wt thread?
I’ve noticed that my smaller eyes needles don’t work well with the automatic threaders! I just look in a variety pack and find a 9/10 that has a longer eye. Tulip also has a needle threader, we need to test it out!
I don’t know why I don’t do this.
I felt the same way after we filmed this tutorial!
