This album and 'Ibiza 99: The Year of Trance' were the first proper trance albums I owned, they started an amazing trip in music that I long to re-live to this day.
Just reading through all these comments and you guys really made my day. Such a pitty i was still a little boy in the 90s when this was spinning in the clubs. Trance did die, but didn't good quality music die as well? Today you can hear only commercial shit, and the artist make songs just because of the money. But we can all be happy such awesome DJs left tunes like this to us and all the generations still coming.
Find the right nights at the right clubs, you can still here this golden generation of music... I'm 40 now - off to Ibiza for the opening parties this year - never too old ! - hopefully 1 or 2 pre club bars, might, just might play something along these lines......

There's still good trance tracks out there and I now work as a producer and DJ largely because of tracks like this one that influenced me so much. I'm 30 now and the music has changed a lot over the years. Tracks like this one, sexdrive and age of love would probably never get a look in now which is such a shame.

This track came with a copy of Digital Music (or Electronic Music?) broken down into samples. As a kid, having access to all the files was unreal. Being able to remix a track before widespread access to accapellas and samples was amazing. I’ll always love this track because I spent hours and hours listening to the individual components of it
Being 55 now, I'm well out of the trance dance category. I however find this style of track awesomely tasty to the ear department. Granted there are better mixes available, but the essence of this song is brilliant. The lyrics here really do reflect a magic Dance Rave atmosphere and to me it's totally well named HAPPINESS HAPPENING, PERFECT !!!!!

@zeroTJseven Agree with you man. The Euphoria series of compilations were excellent before Ministry of Sound took over them. 98-03 days will be missed.
@zeroTJseven I feel the same and remember good times, but there are still some amazing tunes coming through, you just have to sift through the monotonous crap that spends 4 minutes building up to a 20 second break

The very first trance CD I bought. It was in Heathrow... Those were the GOOD days.
