@@Cloudx44 but that makes the most sense historically. The most likely way a Samurai would lose an arm would be through battle, so probably their right hand. Thus a one-armed samurai historically probably only had their left hand... well, left.

These techniques are pretty similar to blade deflection you can use with western sabers. (after all, sabers are single edge curved blades of similar lenght to katanas, but one handed) Which reminds me of somthing funny, that happened during a saber sparring i had during a HEMA session; my opponent had the tip of his sword pointed at me, so i whacked his blade with the flat of mine. And with a circular motion and a change of foot, sent his tip straight into his face! (We had masks abviously. =) )

I'm legally blind. I can see, but I can strain my eyes to a point of functional blindness. Whereby keeping my eyes open causes physical pain. I've been into art, martial arts, gymnastics & gaming my whole life. Without fail my vision always comes up eventually. Because people have a hard time believing I have any visual impairment. My sister inlaw stayed with me for over a year. And she repeatedly forget my bad vision. Becauae, I've learned a million ways to adapt. Here's the thing, my body has all the same basic capabilities of everyone else. I simply have an additional limitation. But everybody has to practice to improve. And with time and effort over coming your limitations is just a matter of practice. Just like anybody else.

I have found creativity to help with all manner of things. Even as a substitute to things usually learned over years.
I feel a bit sorry for the opponent of the kendo senpai...
When we were younger, my brother would get envious of so many different things. Including that someone believed me instead of him, when we both said the same thing. (It was only that my way of using arguments just happened to work in a way the person thought naturally, so they could consider my arguments in their own time and come to their own conclusions. The person then happened to agree with us both, but it may have looked to my brother as if he was ignored, despite being a friend of that person. And I was listened to despite not even being a friend. And he had even been a lot more direct and forceful with his words.)
My brother would have felt cheated when faced with such techniques. And would have been extremely upset about it. It doesn't seem to be something anybody gets prepared for during regular kendo lessons.

Katate-tsuki (one handed thrusting) exists in modern kendo and even much heavier historical swords like zweihanders were used for one handed thrusting. So probably yes

You can thrust but it will be more like a sabre than a rapier due to the balance of the sword and the length of the handle. You would lose your katana if you thrust with it like a rapier

Also how different would the stances be if they only had thier right arm?

Has anyone told Seki Sensei about Three Sword Style yet? I suspect he saw a theory read from a scroll in a very old book one time and he knows somethings relevant which would make it practical. Or, maybe i just want to see Mr. Seki sir try to strike with a mouth sword? I cant honestly be sure. Both outcomes would be eternally memorable.
