Holy crap with in minutes of watching this video and applying the tape almost instant relief. I woke up and my hand was painfully numd after applying like in the video within minutes I can use my hand again. Thank you so much
Wow! Recently diagnosed with carpel tunnel. A lot of numbness in hand and fingers, Tried your tapping technic and the results are astounding! 90+% of the numbness and tingling gone while I wait for surgery. THANKS!
Taping is a good way! Not the easiest way in this case! 13 inches, ok but what is the width of the tape? More people are becoming victim to this syndrome and will be alone! Self application demo is needed! Thanks for the video which shows that you care about your patients!
When you buy kt tape, it’s normally the same width with every brand unless you’re using one that is specifically used for a certain area like the back.
This worked! It took a few tries to get it right (ie not too tight, not too long/short) but when it's right it's wonderful. I'm actually looking forward to sleeping which lately i dread.
@@wcrdcrows6191any kind of kt tape. There is the brand called KT Tape which I find works best as far as adhesive and stretch but there are lots of others you can find online as well.
I was using a wrist splint recommended by a ortho and after about a week to 10 days I noticed the pain in my wrist was there 5:50 even when wearing. And doing research, found your site and use the tape method you recommended, and instantly felt better. I just have a simple question if you could answer or maybe one of the viewers how long do you continue to take? When can you stop and test to see if it’s better without the tape on anymore and there is no more CTS.
The tape is going to help as long as you keep it on , it doesn’t cure your ct unless you keep the tape on and rest your hand cause if you keep using your hand you are causing more inflammation . I hope I am making sense to you . That’s what I have discovered by being a ct sufferer
I've done a fellow hairdressers wrist qurh your method. He was amazed at how well it worked. Now I'm about to do my husband's hand since he cooks at work. ❤
This has worked wonders for me, I'm finally able to sleep. Thank you! Also my Ortho Dr gave me Gabapentin so I think the combination of the medicine and this are a lifesaver until I have surgery.
Seems to be helping, but after 2 days am getting sore and red between thumb and index fingers. What do you do about this? I can't continue to irritate that area. Is there a way to be effective without going through the thumb web? BTW your video is well done and very helpful; thanks!
I'm not sure I have carpal tunel but I feel a lot of pain near my thumb. It was hurting no stop and sensitive. I did this yesterday and It worked. ❤ I still feel pain if I touch but not all the time without even touching so it was really good!
instant relief, i was worried being that i was tapping my self thinkin i would have some issues. i was able to do it alone an i can tell i did it right cause the relief was almost instant, the lil breathing gap in the middle is where i can feel the relief from the tap almost feeling like its separating the tension. def recommend this method
This is by far the best taping method. Tried is last night and worked better than splinting. Thanks
I was wearing a splint for 2 weeks before it started making it worse. I did this for 1 day and it's already making a world of a difference thank you!
Great to hear!
How is it now?
@@CoolTheoryGuy it's a lot better. I also did some stretches my Dr showed me but this taping method helps me so much

Any advice on how to apply it to one’s self?
It can be done but it is definitely a little tougher.
Would be helpful to know what kind of tape would work best for this😅

That's great to hear!!
Where do you get the tape from
Can you tape for trigger finger and carpal tunnel together? Like, at the same time?
Yes
I’m going to try it

This one didn't relieve my pain at all and I can argue that it made the pain intensify but I still learned a lot from this video. Thanks!

My mother has carpal tunnel syndrome in her hand she's eighty-seven so I'm going to give her a try
For anyone seeing this, be careful with older folks' often thin, delicate skin.
